Swoon. Thanks be to Lu for always honoring her music and songs above all else, and to Tom for making this artistic autonomy and musical integrity happen for the fans. Lu respects and trusts and knows her fans. Viv
vmorrisParticipantMike, I’ll be buying presale for the 16th, 17th and 18th if you’d like to sit together (unfortunately AC/DC on the 14th in North Carolina will keep me from the earlier two shows). I think you have my direct email. Vivian
vmorrisParticipantExcellent venue choices for both NYC and Dallas! Thanks!
vmorrisParticipantJust among us chickens, any available info regarding venues, especially for NYC and Dallas, would be much appreciated!! There is planning to be done! 😉 Happy, Happy, Joy Joy! Viv
vmorrisParticipantLucinda certainly delivered in 2015. Phenomenal songs and live shows filled the year, and she will blaze into 2016. So grateful for her gifts and efforts on behalf of the fans. I will be starting the New Year with a Chris Stapleton show on Jan 1st (yay), but I can’t wait to fill the calendar with as much Lucinda as I can manage. In this season of celebration, Peace in your heart, Peace in your home, Peace on Earth. Vivian

deathvmorrisParticipant“Let’s start a rumor” could be a good first line to a song 🙂
vmorrisParticipantThanks for the articles, Lefty and Lafayette. I just love her so much!
vmorrisParticipantDo not despair SamishSeaMike! The EMP award ceremony was $10,000 per table and $1,600 for a single ticket, all of which immediately sold out anyway. I had looked into going home to Seattle early for the show (I’ll be there Thanksgiving week), but quickly discovered the event was way above my pay grade. My big Lucinda miss was when I was in Vermont and, due to my poor geography skills, didn’t realize her show was 57 miles away in New Hampshire.
vmorrisParticipantTom, Thank for the info. I’m glad that it’s all good! Despite rumors to the contrary, I guess there’s only so much of Lu to go around 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving, Viv p.s I’m happily remembering the three great shows at Nashville City Winery at this time last year…
vmorrisParticipantWell, I answered my own question… RollingStone.com said that Lu was scheduled to perform, but did not. I hope everything is okay. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/jimmy-page-jams-rock-and-roll-with-nirvana-gnr-members-at-emp-tribute-20151120
vmorrisParticipantThis would be a nice sunny break during the winter months… It’s only GA, no seats, all grass… Per the promoter: “It is a beautiful venue, stage faces west onto the western edges of the everglades….there are no seats, it is general admission and the gates open at 2 PM. All the information is at http://www.musicjamproductions.com.
vmorrisParticipantI will await the news from our forum’s Gabriel, and we shalt have joy and gladness. 8)
vmorrisParticipantThanks so much for posting and the Chapel Hill love, Tom! We love you right back! It’s fabulous that Lu spent time with these two very distinguished professors. Any archiving by UNC of Lu’s work would be a phenomenal and much deserved honoring of the inestimable value of Lu’s genius!!! Viv

Can anyone remember the name of the opening band? I can’t find them for the life of me, and I recall being impressed with them, and now want to buy their album. I’ve scratched my head all I can…
Kenneth Brian Band. Their first album, ‘Welcome to Alabama,’ is great, and they just released a new one called ‘Blackbird’ (totally sweet album cover). The single ‘Goodbye West Virgina’ (not on Blackbird for some reason) will be released in November. They are out and about touring.
