i’m a big fan, i am a painter, and am working on a concept, “being swallowed up”, in an “Ocean of love”, your words and notes do inspire….when completed I shall ask for your critique…..you make me smile! 😉

Worth “beer hall”, I regretably couldn’t attend, I was only 45 min. Away!!!!! My spouse at that time was having a “bone marrow” transplant….so far so good, he was bummed to miss it too…enjoy reAding the FF. Peace to y’all!
Hey, thanks for the response….!!!!! I am glad to know it is available on DVD now….I have the DVD of, THE LAST WALTZ, but to my understanding, the DVD, is it Harvest Moon? is no longer in publication? “keep on rockin in the free world!’ 8)
We left town first thing Sun. morning. (was grateful I got my mate to stay 1 nite!) We live about 2 hrs. east of Austin…No plans of going to CA, unless we go visit the grandson, a Marine, stationed in San Diego….Enjoyed the Youtube video, lil-tiger! I think I can hear myself “hoop-n-holler”!!!! I was up front , stage center… 🙂
Who was all there last nite?
My husband & I wuz! This was our second show seeing Lu….we went early and had some BB-Q, had our picture taken at our table, with one of Lu’s older concert poster overhead!
We had a great time, Texans are so friendly…..we stayed at the Holiday Inn, at Townlake, we got dropped off for the show, but WALKED back to the hotel after the concert, at a “snail’s pace”! Between the energized show/alcohol…. 😆 I was hoping to meet some fellow Lu website forum members…..I wanted to meet “Grumpy Mama”….”Happy Mother’s DAy!!!!! Anyway, great show! Lu seemed to be happy “back” in Austin! Good show/Good Town!!!!I’ve got my tickets purchased today! See ya in Austin at Stubbs!!! Any of you fans out there want to meet some where before the show for a Pep Rally?!!! 💡

Has anyone purchased tickets for the Austin/ May show at Stubb’s? Can I buy them direct from Stubbs, and/or is there a presale password to use. I want to get 4 tickets…..can’t wait! Who else is going? I’d be grateful for any info please…. 🙂yeah, Crystal’s talent is authentic, and she is such a natural on camera!
I was out of town awhile, and havent checked this website lately, IS Lu going on tour again,???? or just a few shows???? IF I’m near, I’ll be there! We will be out “west” in August! Hmmm-mm! 8)Hey ya’ll, my husband and I, both, watched the nite when Randy Jackson, plugged Lu’s name. No need to be embarassed to admit to watching the show (it’s not like your watching the Jerry Springer Show!!!)…It gives the average person with real talent to get contracts, which isn’t easy to get these days. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t I hear Randy pronouce Lu’s name as, “Celinda Williams”? lol
Thanks for posting the tenative May/June 2009 tour. I totally missed out on the Texas tour this past Feb., (I live between Dallas and Houston) But, I may be able to fly to Phoenix or Milwaukee for those concerts, since I have family in both towns……good excuse to go! I’m a new fan, Got to see Lu in concert in northern WI last summer! Thanks again!
Too bad about the cancellation. But “SHIT” happens….Actually, for my own personal reasons, I’m glad it will be rescheduled in Duluth. I couldn’t make the Nov. 6th date. Hopefully I can make the new date!!!!! When anyone finds out the new date….please let me know! She’s worth the wait!!! 😀 😀 victhechic
I too], was fortunate to see Lucinda at the Big Top, in Bayfield.
I happened to be in town visiting that week, and my brother, who already was a fan, had took me with him to see her concert.
I had never heard of any her songs before, but was pleasantly surprised. It was the high-lite of my summer, being back home in God’s country (the WI northwoods) and viewing such a talent! She ROCKS!
I now have 3 of her CD’s and am looking forward her coming back to Texas!

He doesn’t know the name of the song, or the name of the person doing the cover, but he said it sounded like a rap song. I played him Tom Petty’s cover of Change the Locks but that wasn’t it. Does anyone know which song it might be? I know that’s not a lot to go on, but if you have any guesses, let me know.

Hey Kevin, about the “rap’ type song, it could be from World Without Tears, on trac 8, titled “Sweet Side”. Hope it helps…I’m a new fan as well.
