LW–The super deluxe is up in the air as we speak, and if it happens it would not be available on 3/1. I will provide any update on that front asap. If we do end up doing one I will do something so the music would be available on 3/1 but not the package. The cover process took a little longer than we hoped, and caused a delay in the discussion about a super deluxe. I do want to do it so stay tuned.

With all due respect, I really don’t think the “townies” were favored in any way. We did a full week presale that was posted in this forum on Jan. 7th under the Presales topic. In hindsight I wish we had posted it as a separate topic, and we will make sure we do that in the future. But in addition to this website, I decided to treat Lucinda’s Facebook fanpage as a pseudo fanclub, as we don’t have a real fan club yet and all of the info -including how to buy tickets directly from the venue as well as the presale password – was posted there a week before the tickets went on sale to the public. The info was also posted on the Ark website.
I am sorry you feel as if it wasn’t fair, but i’m not sure what else we could have done. If you would like please send me a private message here or email me at tom_overby@yahoo.com and I will put your name on a list in the event that we have a few tickets to release from our hold backs. I can’t guarantee it but there is a reasonably good chance that we will have a small number of tickets to release. In the meantime I apologize for the confusion with this on sale -these are the first pre-sales we have done and we hope to be a little smoother with how we communicate the info in the future.
Sincerely-TomGreat club -Lu had a great show here in ’08. It was the first show of that leg and the economy had just crashed. I think the crowd that night was ready to let off some steam.
Possibly on the April/May leg which will be routed around the Austin, Houston and New Orleans shows but nothing definite yet.
Grumpy–Yes the show is confirmed and definitely happening -tickets are not on sale yet an probably won’t be for a month or so. Info about presales etc. will be posted here and on the Facebook fanpage.
I have not been in this venue yet. I believe it is mostly standing but there may be some limited seating -just not sure. I have been told it is completely refurbished and beautiful inside and more importantly that they redid the sound system a couple years back and it is supposed to sound great there.

Yes-Nelsonville is a solo show. All of the shows before Toronto are solo. Toronto and after are all band shows.
That’s because you basically can’t play a real venue in New York City that isn’t controlled by Ticketmaster. That is the reality of it there and in most other major cities. Things are starting to change but it takes time. I appreciate that our attempts to minimize using TM etc., and reasonable ticket prices, are noticed. Thank you for that.
Lu and I would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years. Got to meet a lot of you in here over the last couple years and hopefully we will cross paths with more of you this year.
