You heard it here first -actually a few days ago -but I will confirm it here first with press release in the next couple of days. As part of the 9/16 show at Tipitina’s in N.O. Lucinda will be inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame.
That is going to be a fun night.In other news it looks like we will be adding a 2nd show in Saxapahaw NC as the first one sold out in the blink of an eye. It also looks like the 9/22 show is looking very positive but I will know more tomorrow.
Good question Paul -no, the second night will not be a Rough Trade night -it will be a separate little celebration of it’s own.
No it hasn’t -we are considering something but I don’t think it’s going to happen at this point -but of course that could change.
To answer some questions from above –Philly is at the Keswick in Glenside.
Not doing the Blue Door. The first show is Tulsa.Tony is correct. Because we created the masters at the show there was no time to add the metadata. (Wow -look at Tony throwin’ around the high-tech hundred dollar words. Is synergies far behind?) 🙂

Working Californians will be announcing the event tomorrow, Friday August 9, 8:00 am PT. The announcement will include information for a presale that will start tomorrow at 10:00 am PT through Sunday 10:00 pm PT exclusively to AXS.com members, WCA, IBEW 11 & 18 membership.
Tickets will go onsale to the public Monday August 12 at 10:00 am PT
The event was moved from the Nokia Plaza to Parking lot 7 to accommodate a larger crowd and stage. I will see if I can get the password -are you sure there is one. I can try and find out.

With the exception of something we are trying to work out on 9/22 this will probably be it for Sept. before we head home to make the next record(s).Yes -there will be presales for all the (non-festival) shows including Stubb’s -Stubb’s presale will go up tomorrow at 10 am CST on Lucinda’s facebook fanpage.
A second show has been added at Tipitina’s for 9/16 -it’s going to be a very special show-but give out the details yet.

That’s funny – we ran into Electric Earl a year or so ago and he reached out said he had some footage from a Hank Williams tribute night at the Palomino in ’93-really great footage of three songs as it turns out. Ironically enough I just emailed him to see if he had anything else from those Palomino days.
