Yes -you count- and it sounds like you got the track and if there is indeed a male vocal the wrong version was sent out -so right about now I am having an oh @#$% moment.
TOverbyParticipantBlake -I am so f’n mad that I can’t be at that show –that is a dream show -I crushed that I can’t be there. Abslolutely introduce yourself to Greg and Bill who aare very much a part of the Lu family so to speak and their genius as musicians are dwarfed by how great of human being they are -Truly two my favorite people and musicians. It wiil be amind boggling show. F%$# I really want to be there.
Let me know how great it is.TOverbyParticipantPM me your info and ill see what i can do
Cheers,
TomTOverbyParticipantThat is correct.
TOverbyParticipantLu’s roses guitar was made by James Trussart, a friend of Lucinda’s who is based in LA and makes these very unique guitars which are made metal vs. wood. They are all handmade in garage in Los Feliz. Lu has a couple of them and she started to use it when the ’54 Esquire needed to be retired from the road. Doug Pettibone, Lucinda’s guitarist for many years played a Les Paul shaped Trussart that he used only on Righteously for many years. Got a great sound of that guitar for that song.
TOverbyParticipantWe hope to have the downloads emails rolling asap. Will have more details soon.
TOverbyParticipantThe show is definitely on and we are here -we left about 2:00 am after the 2nd Toronto show and drove very slowly to Ithaca -it took a loooong time-but we made it early in the morning Sunday safe and sound.
TOverbyParticipantAnd I can say that maybe, just maybe Annie has too much weight on her.
TOverbyParticipantToo early to say -just had the opportunity to do it with the same person who did the album shows, and I had a feeling these shows could be very unique, so I really wanted to get one on film. Our guy said he got some really great footage. We got some great after show footage also. One of Lucinda’s teachers from her Fayetteville college days in 1971 was there. She had told Lucinda back then not to pursue a music career, and they were talking about that last night. Pretty hilarious.
TOverbyParticipantDon’t know for sure -but there has been some talk of that.
TOverbyParticipantIt is a Gibson J-45 -she’s been playing it for years. It actually had a little mishap on a tour bus a couple years ago and has a hole in the back so it’s getting time to retire this one.
TOverbyParticipantI agree -we had another version of that one that was closer up and one with sign under his arm -both cool but we loved the flat tire one the best
TOverbyParticipantJust wanted to remind everyone that the Blessed vinyl includes the cd & the Kitchen Tapes.
TOverbyParticipantNo the Blue Door is just Lu -but all of the shows after tonight are with the band.
TOverbyParticipantYes -apparently they are temporarily sold out of the vinyl
