TOverbyParticipant
I will make sure you get them. Sorry for the delay.
TOverbyParticipantI always appreciate it when I get these kinds of emails:
Tonight’s set at Webster Hall was amazing (so was last night’s) and I have to really compliment your soundboard guy. I have been going to shows in NY for…jeez…the first one was in 1973…. and must have been at Webster Hall 15-20 times, and the sound was always muddy and just bad. I wasn’t thrilled when I heard Lucinda was going to be playing at that venue. But, your sound guy – I think he had an English or Irish accent – was fantastic. I was standing near the soundboard both nights, and both nights I heard people coming up to him during breaks or at the end complimenting him over and over (just as I did tonight). Not sure I have ever seen that before. Keep him, he’s amazing.
All the best.
TOverbyParticipantActually I have a pretty good idea who Bill but I don’t know for sure. If it’s who I think it is it’s the same person that Six Blocks Away is about.
TOverbyParticipantThe April 21 show in Indianapolis will be the first show on that leg. Right now Europe would be Sept. at the earliest.

TOverbyParticipantThe covers had the writing on them only for the internet stores. The original covers never had the writing on them -just a sticker on the shrink wrap.
TOverbyParticipantpdl–Lucinda completely agrees with you on that point.
TOverbyParticipantSeriously -Greg L is one of best human beings on the planet and if you tell him you are Lu’s new guy he will be all about it. He is a dear friend of bot of ours and he will be thrilled that you introduced yourself -you can sy I told you to do it and he will laugh. From there I’m sure he will introduce you to Bill who is tied with Greg for most awesome human being. Trust me they will love that you introduce yourself. Do it 🙂
TOverbyParticipantNo Nashville shows in that time. Sorry.
TOverbyParticipantIt was his regular old Fender Jaguar -the one on the cover of My Aim Is True -it was pretty great to see that guitar. The amp was brand called 65amps which is a Birtish solid state amp. He endorses them and they brought in a brand new one for him to use on this session. It may have even be the model they call Lil’ Elvis -named after him but I think it was brand new model. On Buttercup he played in the control room and was plugged directly into the board and it was massively cranked. He loved doing it -it was quite a night.
TOverbyParticipantHere is the info on the alt version of Ugly Truth. The version that was sent includes Kris Kristofferson on vocals and the version that was supposed to be sent from the studio out was without Kris. Originally when it was finished it was 50/50 on which track to use but we just thought we’d save the track with Kris for something else. It was a great day when he came into the studio and he adores Lu so I hope you enjoy it.
TOverbyParticipantGreat – really relieved to know they are getting there. Please continue to let me know if you haven’t received them and we will make sure everyone is covered. I was really hoping for this to go off with out a hitch so i’m hoping we’re almost there.
TOverbyParticipantI will follow up but I was told all of the emails went out as of late last night. Very sorry for the delay -have been a little apprehensive about these getting out.
TOverbyParticipantAnd I had such high hopes that today was going to be a better day than yesterday.
TOverbyParticipantButtercup is indeed the single and AAA is the radio format- not sure if they have one in South Florida as there aren’t that many stations in that format-which is what makes radio breakthru’s very difficult for artists like Lu.
