Yes –I hope so. I want to get them all out on vinyl.
TOverbyParticipantIt was not going to re=mastered for vinyl so I been postponed it from that release date.
TOverbyParticipantI should add that in Lafayette and N.O. it will CC Adcock and the young prodigious Cajun fiddler Cedric Malone as a duo. CC tells me it’s a very special thing.
TOverbyParticipantLionel Young in Boulder and waiting to confirm Tulsa
TOverbyParticipantThere are a couple that she doesn’t think have stood the test of time as well as others but they are earlier songs, but she has always told me that she loves Steal Your Love. I do have a vague memory of her saying once that some critic said a certain song wasn’t up to her standard -maybe that was SYL.
TOverbyParticipantHaunted -I didn’t know of that ticket policy -let me know if you get a ticket -if not we can figure something out
TOverbyParticipantCC Adcock is also opening the New Orleans HOB show.
TOverbyParticipantMinor interjection here. Not sure where it came from that Lu doesn’t think Steal Your Love is up to her usual standards as that is not the case -she loves it and when it was mentioned in TT’s setlist compiling thread that it hadn’t been played much I thought we needed to bring that one back -I also had a hunch that Blake would really dig into that song -and he did. Lu was right -it was the best i’ve ever heard it.
I think you’ll see several more less played gems come back. We were talking about that very topic last night after the show with Blake because he obviously recently learned everything so he can put a fresh spin on a lot things that haven’t been played much. That setlist.fm site is going to come in handy -so all of TT’s work was not for naught.TOverbyParticipantWe stopped and spent the night in Flagstaff on the way home from the first leg of tour and ate dinner just a few blocks from the Orpheum. We were all impressed with Flagstaff and we are going to look into playing the Orpheum -would there be a better time of year or not to play there?
TOverbyParticipantAs you’ve already discovered we are doing some local openers and some with no openers. I am excited to announce that Erika Wennerstrom (Ms. Heartless Bastards) will be opening the Austin show with a special acoustic solo set. It also looks like we will have CC Adcock in Lafayette (his home town) and also in New Orleans. He and Lu go way back and he’s opened some shows before a few years ago -great guitar player -should be a lot of fun.
TOverbyParticipantI’m sure we will be doing the Fillmore at some point but probably not until late summer/fall.
TOverbyParticipantSalmon Arm?
TOverbyParticipantAll of these shows are with the band. There are currently no solo shows scheduled or planned.
TOverbyParticipantWhat we are trying to do after Portland is go thru Canada and then hook with the Amos part of the tour at Interlochen. Right now we are working on Calgary, Edmonton, the Winnipeg Folk Fest, the Ottawa Folk Fest and possibly something in Toronto and and maybe Montreal but that is more of a longshot.
TOverbyParticipantAll of the additional show will be announced in the next couple of days. Rochester is Presentation Hall and Madison is Capitol Thatre.
