The SF Fillmore shows should be fairly soon as the shows were officially confirmed today. I believe they will be announcing very soon as they want to get this in their fall brochures, which apparently are going out soon.

Athens & Chattanooga info coming soon- presales probably now early next week.

The Mobile, Birmingham and Oxford show are probably now not happening as we had to re-route part of that week after the AMA’s in Nashville. It’s still up in the air but it’s looking like the 15th will now be the Pisgah Brewing Festival near Asheville NC. We’re trying to work out the 9/16-18, with Savannah and Charleston SC in the picture -but nothing is completely locked in until 9/19 in St. Pete. It’s all about getting from here to there and finding the right places in between. The drivers gotta sleep too.

Possibly Portland and Eugene before SF. The only thing after SF will be LA, and that will be it for the year.

I’m expecting that they will happen. Just been finishing up the first half of the leg as we had a couple of late changes, which i will have more info about soon.

Some really great suggestions. Some of my favorite Bob songs -I have always loved You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere–the problem with that one is that this is for Amnesty Intl, which is fights worldwide human rights issues- such as people falsely imprisoned-so i’m not sure YAGN, by title, would be appropriate. Maybe i’m over thinking it but you gotta be careful with things like this.

    Groth is always great-Thanks again.

Stoge–I’m not surprised of your review of the video -I actually thought it might meet with a lot more overall negativity than it did in that it was very different than what might be expected. I wasn’t sure about it myself at first but now love it. It’s obviously not a literal interpretation and I think that’s what’s cool about it. It stands as a separate thing that makes you think. A literal interpretation would have been a little redundant, and really wouldn’t have translated. We wanted something different and it definitely is.
For what it’s worth the back story is that the guy from Squidbillies who conceived this, and considers this some of his best work, thought of the idea as he was listening to the song as he was driving to see his mother in the hospice. I was very moved by that and it gave a little different perspective on the video.

Doubtful -we already did KC and while I do need to find a show or two to route from the midwest to the west in early Nov. I’m not sure that Wichita will work. I actually did bring it up as a possibility earlier this week but Lu’s agent seemed of the opinion that they don’t really have the right venue.

10/24 -Athens GA –Georgia Theatre (completely rebuilt after last year’s fire -just reopened a few days ago and it looks like a fantastic new venue)
    11/1 -Ridgefield, CT –Ridgefield Playhouse
    11/2 -Burlington, VT –Flynn Ctr

I will edit the original email above to reflect these shows>

Frank is Lucinda’s booking agent. There are few shows that we are trying to figure out in the south in mid Oct and some of the dates hinge on what is in front of or after them, but yes we are looking at Savannah as one of the possibilities.

Chattanooga was confirmed this morning. Not sure if there is any seating there but I can find out. Will have Birmingham answer by tomorrow.
