ParticipantHmmm….I don’t remember giving a clearance for that one. Will have to go back and look that up. They wouldn’t do that would they?

ParticipantIt just hasn’t been announced yet. Coming soon.

ParticipantLucinda’s show in Columbia will be the first at a brand new outdoor venue. We are very happy to kcik it off the right way.

ParticipantI will also add that this song is new and has not been released on a Lucinda record yet.

ParticipantPossibly in the fall -we have been working on a very different series of Lucinda shows for late Sept and late Nov. but it is still a work in progress.

ParticipantRight now there are no other shows planned around these two London shows.

ParticipantInteresting observations as it was all done very spontaneously. We had the tempo set and Doug came up with the guitar loop/part and it all just went from there.
We all recorded the Jesse Winchester song in the same session–it was a long night but very successful.

ParticipantThe shows with John Prine will be Lu and Doug as John is also doing a solo/stripped down show. Also look for shows on Cape Cod and Stone Mountain Arts Center to be announced fairly soon -and the Philadelphia folk Fest on 8/18 in between the Prine shows.

ParticipantLWJ is getting so good he’s finding links before the track is even recorded. Going this afternoon to get this one done.

ParticipantI’m going to start a separate thread for this song so it doesn’t get missed here.

ParticipantWe hope so -Doug is working on his schedule and is supposed to let me know in the next couple of days.

ParticipantNot sure what else I can add beyond what I put up earlier in this post. It is the Kate Wolf folk festival and it will be Lu and Doug for this show as well as Big Sur.
The July shows will be with the band.

ParticipantFrom the Austin American Statesman:
Of all of the songs on the setlist that weren’t written by Cash, Lucinda Williams’ moving cover of the Nine Inch Nails song “Hurt” might have been the night’s most powerful.
