ParticipantMy mistake on the Prescott show -I checked the site and it said that the tables and the blankets were sold out. I incorrectly assumed that the show was sold out, which it is not.
In regards to NYC, we have offers and a decision will probably be made on Monday.

ParticipantGlen is keeping all the big ones for his set -as he should. Lucinda’s songs will be more obscure -and judging by rehearsal yesterday they will be very special.

ParticipantI think full details are needed on the two shows you mentioned as neither one is reven remotely for the “beautiful people”. The Brownfield shows include a full dinner -and an excellent one I might add–that is always the way they’ve done it-and the room only holds about 200 people. Prescott Park is for a table -I believe that means 4 people. It is sold out however-with a waiting list.
And yes there will be shows announced shortly in Portland, Maine (8/2) Northampton (8/4) and Ridgefield, CT (8/5)TOverby
ParticipantOne of them is in this group of songs. She is doing three -two Glen Campbell songs and one of hers.

ParticipantJust for the record it should be noted that this is a re-issue of a record released several years ago-let 90’s I believe. I’ve actually never heard the song, but I’ve noticed the lyrics in the stage master lyric book.

ParticipantAlthough the birthday party admission is free, Ticketmaster is charging a $20 convenience fee.

ParticipantHappened again -I think they haven’t cleared something and then I go back and look and sure enough I approved it. It was back in January which apparently is too far back for my memory.

ParticipantWow -really bad -several times Rodney is referred to as Crowley instead of Crowell. Impressive editing and fact checking.

ParticipantCome on Tom, you know critics don’t actually listen to the records. That’s old school. 😮

ParticipantWas this a recent episode?

ParticipantSmall world. I will definitely keep any eye out for that movie. Lu will definitely want to see it. When we were in Spain she played the song Adios El Corazon Amonte -which she heard from Violeta’s recording when she lived in Santiago. I believe Miller either briefly knew or met her brother, the now famous poet Nicanor Parra, who was portrayed beautifully in a Roberto Bolano book that I read a few months ago-just can’t quite remember the title.

ParticipantI’m guessing you saw somewhere where Lu mentioned her? Or maybe not? She loves Violeta, who she remembers listening to when she lived in Santiago in high school.

ParticipantI agree with you–thought it was an odd choice.
