KeymasterMr. Stoger did not get the “swallows returning to Capistrano” reference?
*faints*

KeymasterAwesome! 😀

KeymasterIt was a great show and I enjoyed the music. I didn’t keep a set list so I didn’t file a report. I was in the third row. I went by myself, drove there by myself, sat by myself, and drove home by myself. So I have no anecdotes to report. 😮

KeymasterGreat report! Safe travels!

KeymasterThanks for the excellent report! 😀

KeymasterBest case scenario is 90 minutes. If it’s rush hour, 2 hours. 😀

KeymasterLast night was Hermosa Beach right? South of the LA Airport. Our Spanish friends went. Tonight is Pomona but I will be seeing Amos Lee.

tonyg, major props on your cutting edge set list posting.
Thanks! I was trying to push the envelope. First was mid sentence emoticons ( 😯 ) now this.

KeymasterSo by process of elimination I’m thinking the only song I did not attempt a title on may have been “Everything But the Truth”. I can’t prove it. I blame Grumpymama for not grabbing the setlist that was 2 feet in front of her. 😡

KeymasterCheck out the Griffith Park Observatory, Bigsubi. There is cool stuff there and a nice view of the city.

KeymasterFyi, Stills is putting on another show this year at a different venue. John Mayer, Chris Stills, and Don Felder listed as performers, along with CS&N.

KeymasterDifferent original song Stoger. My title.

KeymasterThank you LWj. It took most of the song to figure out what was going on with Lu’s guitar. I think it turned out to be a cable.
My admonition against going to shows on weeknights once again went by the boards as I staggered home at 1:45 am. I am at work at 7 am after a most refreshing 4 hours sleep 🙄 . Luckily I had 2 diet cokes all night so there was no impairment factor. At least not from alcohol.
It was a good show. 2 hours long. Greg Leisz and Stuart Mathis in a twin guitar attack. Butch and David as per usual. Lu looked and sounded fantastic. The place was packed. Taking a cue from Paul from Los Angeles, I breezed in at 9:15 pm and took a seat in the loft. Lu introduced several new songs but the between song chatter of fans near me prevented me from hearing the titles on a few of them. The new songs were pretty strong.
I decided to go cutting edge and post the setlist directly into the forum post and saving it on preview until posting it. Once Lu dug into Get Right With God I cheerfully posted the set list as final and was quite happy with myself. To my horror, despite the show being over 1 hour and 50 minutes long, she then played Rockin in the Free World and I had to hastily edit my post. Note to self: don’t asume you know anything.
FF members Paul from Los Angeles and Grumpmama were in the house, as well as my new friends from Spain Victor and Mercedes. It was great to meet them finally. I hope they have a pleasant rest of their trip. Kudos to them for coming such a long way to see Lu. True fans. Great to see David, Tom, and Lu as always.
Speaking of, I won’t make another show until the Echoplex show. Carry on!

KeymasterI see Mr. Stoger beat me to the punch regarding a post for tonight’s show. I also see we have visitors from out of town. Welcome. For those not in the know, this is a standing show; only limited seating at the bar or upstairs. Expect a long line outside before the doors open, which should be at 8 pm. There is a convenient parking lot directly across the street.
