    From Tom:
Fun night in Chattanooga. We are always disappointed when we don’t sell out -especially when it became apparent that there wasn’t proper advertising for this show (and Greensboro) -it’s just always great to get energized by a full house but we have to give the Chattanooga fans a big props -they made it seem like a full house. Thank you for the support for the ones who did make it out. Chattanooga is a great place—it seems like there are a lot of people who really want to support live music -I hope we can come back some time. Oh yeah we had a great night off and got to get out and see some of the city -but somehow we didn’t make it anywhere after shutting down the Pickled ???. Can’t quite remember the name for some reason but loved hanging out there.

Love those backstage turntables – Liberace in the record collection – perfect for aftershow.

From Tom:First show in Savannah in years—Lu couldn’t remember the last time there -some time in the mid 90’s -don’t know why it took so long. Perfect way to end the tour -with a wonderful sold out house. Great versions of Bus To Baton Rouge, Cross To Bear (dedicated to Greg Allman, who we were told lives there) and especially Get Right w/God with a long spontaneous mid-song dedication to Flannery O’Connor who was born there. Someone described Savannah as a cleaner New Orleans -love these old southern cities -wish we could’ve spent more time there. Next time.

From Tom:Good to be back at the Carolina Theater where we’ve had some great memories in the past. Another wonderful audience -but just like Chattanooga this show seemed to be very unadvertised, which is very frustrating. We had request for Buttercup which hadn’t been played for a long time but it made it in there tonight and sounded great -first time it had been played with Stuart so I think it will show up more often. I think that brings the song count for this tour up to 79 or 80. Going to have to go back and look and get the count up to date. Thanks Greensboro.

    From T.O.:
Didn’t see this coming -started out with David’s bass amp blowing out, which caused a massive change in the order of the setlist (see below) and then turned into one of those special epic Lu shows. We also took requests on FB for this show and there were over 60 different song requests and at one point it seemed like Lu was going to play them all and she was in especially good voice. Many highlights. The longest show in recent memory -26 songs, 2 hours 22 minutes. On any given night……

    From T.O.:
We asked for request for this show on FB and got over 40 different song requests. Very special request for Bruce’s Factory -band members and been asking for this one also. First time we’ve played B’Ham to stand up audience and what a difference that made. This was a “Saturday night” crowd on a Sun night. Rocked out in Iron City.
Tour debut of Factory puts the count at 78, I think, or is it 79?

    From T.O.:T
he 10 day break seemed like about 10 minutes but it was time enough for Lu’s ribs to get a lot better. It was great to have Jim Lauderdale sit in on Jackson and a rousing Jailhouse Tears -apparently Jim has become the King Of Suwanee Fest, having played it for the last 15 years. It’s always special to hang with Jim.
We thought we weren’t going to have time to get Rockin’ In The Free World In but with some last minutes negotiations we got it done. All in all a fun first night.

    From Tom:
Night two at McCabe’s and a great finish to the end of this run. Very different show from the night before with only six songs repeated. We had a very strong request to play Knowing -first time played in at least a couple years. 4 more tour song debuts puts the total up to 77. A little break and then six more shows in March and then a well earned break before we start up again in June.
