Weird. I just went back in 90 minutes later and scored 2 excellent seats in section A with no difficulty. I guess the earlier activity were people shopping but not buying.
Well that was grossly disappointing. I was in at the crack of 10 for the artist presale and there were no 2 seats together anywhere near the stage; the back of section C was the best I could do so I passed. Maybe the other presales will be better.

JUST ANNOUNCED! LSD Tour: Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle & The Dukes, and Dwight Yoakam! The pre-sale exclusive to Lucinda’s fans starts this Monday, March 26th at 10AM local time (password: LUCINDA). Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, March 30th at 10AM local time. King Leg will be opening the show as Special Guest on the tour. Presented by SiriusXM.

The eight songs she played over two nights (four sets) were Ventura, Masters of War, Unsuffer Me, Angel, A Place in My Heart, Nobody’s Fault but Mine (Blind Willie Johnson), Dust, and We Have Come Too Far. As I understand it, in late spring/early summer from Blue Note Records, a record will be released of five of those eight, plus five or so of Charles Lloyd’s. Don Was produced.
A June tour with Dwight Yoakam and Steve Earle is brewing, to be reprised in August. July will be essentially off.
She called The Marvels “the best band in the world” and thanked them for including her “beyond being a folk singer, or an Americana artist.”
I apparently got Prince’s former table second night, according to Tom’s best man, who shared it with me. Seems Prince would sneak in some nights and go to said table with his bodyguard, upstairs near center.
