    Those 2 places are about 3 hours north of me. I am going to keep them on my radar screen.

    Anne opened for LW in Malibu a few years ago. Maybe Tom T. remembers the year. I think it was the first show without the Love Band. I was blown away by her performance. I bought a couple CDs from her and we had a nice chat. She was very pleasant.

    Another great show by Doug last night. He played most of the West Gate, about 5 new songs, and a couple covers. Jimmy on drums and Kevin McCormick on bass. Opening was a guy named Shawn Jones who was terrific.

    I wonder if artists know how much it sucks dealing with these ticket sellers and that some people would rather stay home than deal with this?

    He is featured on Lu’s 1999 Austin City Limits DVD performance, along with Jim Lauderdale and Kenny Vaughn. You wikll have to check that out.

    There is a clip of Taylor Swift singing a duet with Stevie Nicks that is very painful to listen to. Whatever talent Taylor Swift has, her voice is another thing altogether. 🙄

    I have not attended since it is almost 500 miles away but I think 1999 would have been a great year to go. The clip of Greenville with Emmy Lou and Neil was excellent too.
