I recorded an album to a CD once. The hum and needle noise also came across.

Parker what do you do for travel music when you buy vinyl? Copy it to a CD? Tape?

Awesome report Stoger. Are there no Blessed CDs sold at the merch table in question? Was the sign correct?

Ok I bought one. Go out and celebrate. The picture on the cover is you at some younger age, I take it?

How about a trip out to Pappy and Harriett’s when you return to So Cal, Tom? A trip to the desert could be fun (crazy).

Holy shit. A rave review, after slamming an entire decade worth of albums. With friends like him….

I was there. I guess I forgot to file a report. Anne flew in from Australia earlier in the day. Mojo Monkeys opened and played from 8 to 9 pm. Had a nice chat with Taras before the show. He had just returned from Europe with Richard Thompson. They were great and I bought 2 CDs and all the band signed them.

Anne came out a little after 9 and also played an hour. She opened with Driving Down Alvarado and followed with Don’t Go Texas Without Me. You couldn’t tell she had just flown 14 hours or whatever. There was a good crowd and pictures are on my Facebook page, for those so inclined. Dusty Wakeman played bass and he told me he plans to go out to Joshua Tree later this year to play with Jim Lauderdale like he did last year, so I am looking forward to that.

I don’t have any shows planned until 4/30 when I see James McMurtry but I hope something pops up in the meantime.

The guy who took that video was sitting right next to me.

Great reports Paul and Stoger, and thx for the excellent setlist Stoger! Maybe next we can get a report from the union busting billionaire Koch brothers, after they give Governor Walker his marching orders for the day. Maybe they didn’t make the show. 🙄
