Gonna say “She Belongs To Me”. Good song.

P.S. I heard a Rick Nelson version of this song yesterday on the radio so I know it can be covered.

Awesome. I will see if they have it on tap. The guitarist accompanying Mr. Doe is someone well known to this forum. 😉

Awesome. There is a lot of Amos on youtube.

He taped a show yesterday in Tuscon for “Artists Den” on PBS. Coming to a TV near you soon I hope.

By the way, song 4 of the White House set that LWJ reports on was “America” by Simon and Garfunkel. Amos talked about doing this song at the WH when he performed it in LA on Saturday.

Good story. The article describes Amos as a “cult singer”. I hope that’s a good thing.

Good story! We can still be concert buds, just on different coasts. We can cover more shows this way.

I see he will be back east after he goes to England. I think he is appearing with Adele. Imagine how many people who will be attending those shows!

Outstanding show tonight by Amos Lee and his band! 95 minutes long. Every song he did was fantastic, one right after the other. I picked up the 2 cds of his that I did not have and listened to them on the way home. A band called Calexico opened, sort of a cross bewteen a rock band and a mariachi band. They also joined Amos for a few songs, including the finale.

I bumped into Amos’ guitarist outside a restaurant before the show. His name is Zach. We chatted for a while about his career as a singer and guitar player. He is working on his own CD. Nice kid.

I first saw Lucinda opening for Neil Young in 2003. I first saw Amos Lee opening for Lucinda last month. It’s pretty cool when you can go see one of your favorite artists and have your mind blown by the opening act.

Great story LWJ. I wonder who the band member was? Sounds like Doug to me. And who was the asshole who smudged the signature?

I’d like to hear more about those lifetime VIP passes!

I scoped out their website when I was thinking about going up there. Looks like an interesting place.
