You should call the venue first and find out if they allow under 21 year old guests.

Some of Lu’s lyrics can be a tad colorful. Ask yourself if you want the kids to hear some interesting words. If it’s Ok with you, do it!

Great report LWj. The “kid” is Zach Djanikian, age 24. I met him in LA. Hard to believe there are people out there that young.

    I have 2 suggestions:

“Change? I got your change right here.”

    “Call someone who cares”.

Admittedly those are not warm and fuzzy. Also, should the period go before or after the quotation mark in the above? I did it both ways and neither looks right. Perhaps Stoger will set me straight.

A bald guy? That ought to narrow it down.

Susannah must have been impressed to remember his wardrobe and comment on it. 😀

Great show at The Mint last night. It started on a bad note with a band from Denver called Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, who made terrible noises for about 45 minutes. At 9:30 we were rescued by Cindy and Frank as a Dead Rock West duo. They were great as always. John Doe came out around 10:30 with his band, joined by Cindy, and played about an hour and a half. He played a lot of his new album Keeper, and some oldies from the X days. There was a decent size crowd on a Tuesday night.

Lots of fun was had chatting with Cindy, Frank, and John before and after the show. I told John I was looking forward to seeing X in December. And its true.

Our website was well represented as always by the usual suspects.
