And, speaking of “Coffeehouse Rock”, I heard “Copenhagen” played on the in-store music system while waiting for my latte at a local Starbuck’s day before yesterday. Very cool – my favorite song on Blessed

OK, with some further “Googling”, I solved my own mystery. This was apparently indeed taken that night in Cleveland (not that I was seriously doubting you both Lafayette & stoger, but it just seemed odd). The tribute show was at the State Theater in Playhouse Square in Cleveland. According to this theatermania.com entry, the Playhouse Square Center is comprised of eight performance spaces (14th Street Theatre, Allen Theatre, Kennedy’s, Hanna Theatre, Ohio Theatre, Palace Theatre, State Theatre, Studio One in the Idea Center). In the list are both State Theater & Palace Theater, so that would explain what is in the background of the photo…

At any rate, it is indeed a great photo (although it’s too bad about the flash glare in Lu’s glasses – that is the only thing that slightly detracts from it)…

P.S. As a point of interest, I don’t think I mentioned when I posted it that this photo was posted on Facebook by Ms. LaVette herself – it showed up in my News Feed because she “tagged” Lu in the photo, which caused it to show up on Lu’s FB page, as well as in the News Feeds of all Lu’s FB friends…

Well I certainly wasn’t there (at the RNRHOF Janis Jopling Tribute show), but, are we sure that was where this photo was taken? In the background, to the right & above Lu, on a red-framed box or something, it says “Palace Theatre” and, searching on that, I didn’t find a Palace Theatre in Cleveland… โ“

OK, that’s good to know, Tom – thanks. FYI, I have been using stoger’s or West Word’s set lists as posted here in the forum whenever possible. I think they are pretty accurate as well, having stood by them at shows many a time – West Words takes copious notes and stoger – well, stoger, has a mind like a steel trap & a memory to match… 8)

Plus, they can easily be cut & pasted into setlist.fm w/ little clean-up required (usually, I just have to remove the enumeration). So, I can slam a lot of them out there in a short amount of time…

Very cool, LWJ – thanks so much for posting. And what a cool & beautiful Web site!

But, how’s this for a switch? Those songs are available only in the Canadian iTunes Store. I can’t purchase them here in the U.S. of A.!!! ๐Ÿ˜†

I’m not much on festivals & the short sets, but I REALLY would like to go to that NOLA HOB show. Have fun on your trip, SSM…

Speaking of hearing Caroline Herring at Eddie’s Attic, I just bought tickets to see her perform there on April 15th. I canโ€™t wait!

Thanks to West Words for passing this recent interview with JLM on to me… ๐Ÿ˜‰

This young lady sure knows her own mind:

Some say youโ€™re not appealing because youโ€™re not cheerful enough.

    Well, they can suck it.

I assume WebMasta’s SET LISTS March 9, 2007 thru March 7, 2009 are helpfull in your quest.

Errr, not so much. Not only are they scans of the stage setlists (i.e., graphic files, such that the text cannot be cut & pasted), but someone’s “chicken scratchin’s” on them (WebMASTA’s, I presume) are hard to decipher. ๐Ÿ˜†

After I get through cutting & pasting text setlists from the FF & other sources, I may go back & look at these scans to fill in the gaps, though…
