So, no drummer on this European tour? Odd – I see on Facebook that Butch is still here in the States, and he just announced a gig with Michael Miller… ❓

I received Patty Griffin’s new Album, American Kid, today, a day before release day (thanks, Amazon.com!). This album is incredible, brilliant, unbelievable. Words do not do it justice. Get it. NOW. You will be missing out on an easy, probable contender for “Americana Album of the Year” if you don’t…

Posted today on Zoe Muth And The Lost High Rollers’ Facebook page:

Heading into the studio next week to cut a couple demos, looks like the start of a new record!

Unfortunate wording on my part, tntracy. You yourself are anything but a gossip-mongerer; more than one singer/songwriter you have introduced to me in this thread have I followed up on. So keep posting, and I agree with Drunken Angel that we will hope to see these two together on stage again in the future.

    No worries, my friend…

    “Informational”–not to say “gossipy”–yes.

Sorry you feel that way, stoger – I posted this mainly in light of the fact that the two have collaborated on at least two album releases in the past (i.e., Rattlin Bones and Wreck and Ruin, both of which I own I might add). Although one could assume that this “separation” might not impact that professional relationship, given the very real chance that it might, I posted the link… 😛

    Sad news…

Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson announce separation

P.S. I took the liberty of changing the name of this thread to simply “Kasey Chambers”, removing “USA Tour: August, 2012”, as it has evolved to a more generic informational thread about her…

I just love the composition of this photo that Chuck posted on Facebook, so I thought I would share it here for those not Facebook-inclined. It is from Belgrade, Serbia, where Chuck just performed…

Maybe Tom will share the list.

That would be more than cool – then, the more obsessed among us can put together their own “Artist’s Choice” playlist, and experience the day vicariously… 😉
