Yes, I knew that – I was referring to perhaps enlisting your help in getting my pieced-together set list into its “natural order” (since you know how songs often flow in Lu’s set lists)…

    and cut way short.

FYI, Lu’s set was shorter than for her typical headlining shows due to the fact it was a co-bill with Amos Lee. Both Amos & Lu were scheduled to each play for only an hour & 15 minutes or so…

Based on this review of the show, I pieced together this partial set list:

    Can’t Let Go
    Pineola
    Buttercup
Little Angel, Little Brother (w/ Amos Lee)

    Little Rock Star
Real Live Bleeding Fingers And Broken Guitar Strings
    Essence
    Changed The Locks
    Joy
    Honey Bee

    Encore:
    Blessed
    Get Right With God

I don’t know if the order is correct; stoger, can you help us out in that regard? 😉

(Moderator note: this is a double-post with another topic in the “General” forum; since this is the more appropriate place for the question, I am deleting the other thread…)

Great stuff, PDL, thanks for posting. I wish the video was a little better quality (doesn’t look so good full screen on my 27″ iMac), but the sound is good, and the performances very good. And, you’re right about “West” – simply beautiful…

Sarah, live from The Earl in Atlanta last week.

Yeah, I missed that performance at The Earl, LWJ. I was tempted to go, but Sarah was the opener, & I didn’t want to be left “wanting more” after a short set. Then, something came up that prevented me from going, so it became moot.

Sarah does have a new EP, The Way Sound Leaves a Room, coming out on September 27th. You can listen to one of the tracks from the EP, “Sucker For Your Marketing”, at the above link (scroll down to the audio player at the end of the short article). AND, you can download the whole track for free as a high-quality, 320 Mbps MP3! Just click on the little down arrow on the right of the audio player…

I was genuinely saddened to hear the news of her untimely death yesterday. I really, really like Back In Black & think she was an incredible talent. And, I have never paid attention to “the tabloid circus” because I can’t stand all that paparazzi-fueled celebrity voyeurism that seems to be so popular these days.

Amos is & was scheduled to co-bill only a limited number of shows with Lu. Gilford, NH – two nights before Richmond – is (& always has been, AFAIK) the last night scheduled of this co-bill run…
