Make that release date for Storybook October 4th. But, judging from the $30+ import-only offerings at Amazon.com & CDUniverse.com, it appears that, just like Little Bird, the new CD will be released first in Australia, which, I assume, means fans in the U.S. & Canada will have to wait several months for a North American release, like we did for Little Bird. I wonder why this is? Is her market in North America that small?

“Free” music? Interesting – I wonder how they got the big music labels to go for that. Maybe the selection is limited to lesser known artists who want the exposure (Lu’s “Essence” being the exception, of course)? I would be interested to hear from someone who joins up what the selection is like. And can you download, or just listen?

I would also add that Lu doesn’t have a “set” set list every night. She mixes it up quite a bit each night. There are usually a few songs that she’ll repeat, but she does a real good job keeping us “junkies” who go to multiple shows in the course of a week or two satisfied with a good variety…
