Hat tip to you, tnt. I looked at Justin’s show schedule and think I will drive over to Columbus for that May 11 show!

Cool! I guar-an-tee you will enjoy it. JTE is very entertaining, and quite the personality from the stage.

    His music ain’t half bad, either… πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€

Just purchased tickets to see JTE at the Roswell (GA) Cultural Arts Center (600 seats) on May 25th. At least seeing him then (and Chuck Prophet in Jacksonville, FL May 14th) with help assuage the pain of my oh-so-many-months of “Lu-lessness”… πŸ˜‰

P.S. His new CD, Nothing’s Gonna Change The Way You Feel About Me Now is out this Tuesday, March 27th. My pre-ordered copy from Amazon arrived just today, but I haven’t had a listen to it yet…

The link I posted, when you click on it it says because of security reasons of the Forum, you don’t get a direct link but it says “Open this content in a new window”.

Huh, I’ve never seen that before on my Mac or my PC, but I use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for my browsers. Which browser are you using, LWJ? Internet Explorer?

Any potential plans for any Southeastern U.S. shows April onward, TO? Unfortunately, our budget this year prohibits long travel for shows for me for the forseeable future… πŸ™

The “Chicks w/ Picks” gig sounds like it’ll be pretty cool! Wish it wasn’t so far away…

Didn’t see the Lu connection when I clicked on this, lwj, but maybe You Tube’s just another thing I don’t have a password for which now requires one. I’m all over the ticket sale Thursday; is there an obvious link to the ticket outlet? Thanks.

Really, stoger? No Lu connection? I was treated to a 48 second video of an attractive blonde lady using flashcards to give the relevant info, all to the opening guitar licks of “Can’t Let Go”. And, the video is entitled, “LUCINDA WILLIAMS Headlines CHICKSTOCKβ„’ 2012 Teaser 2”. All without being signed into YouTube (I have an account, but purposefully signed out before watching the video w/ no problems).

It ended with a URL being displayed of http://www.azchickswithpicks.com – if you go there you will find ticket info, I’d bet…

For this run of shows, Williams will be accompanied by her full band plus a few extra additions. β€œI’m bringing the band out. For this tour we have The Wallflowers guitarist Stuart Mathis coming out with us.

    Hmmmm. Verrrrrrrrry interesting… πŸ˜‰

I realize that Blake pushes the envelope and that sometimes, in pursuit of something he hears inside his head and wants to express, it does not fit together as smoothly as some people prefer but I greatly admire his courage and virtuousity. Sometimes it works better than others but I think the same can be said for all guitarists. In the end, Lu’s smile makes it all worthwhile.

Well said, mshedg, & I could not agree more. While I am very excited at the prospect of seeing Lu & Doug perform together again, I will miss Blake’s genius guitar work. IMHO, he has a great career ahead of him, and I wish him the very best of luck…

“Which Will” or “Like A Rose” (And yes, Lu did not write the first song, but it is simply lovely when she sings it no matter who wrote it… πŸ˜‰ )

    Good topic, ParkerCA!

P.S. Like any “pick any one Lu song” question, it was too hard to limit myself to only one choice… πŸ˜†
