Thanks for the heads up, LWJ, but Norah Jones at the Fabulous Fox is “too rich for my blood”. I’ll have to await a much more affordable show where Sarah is headlining at some dumpy little venue… 😉
Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see Norah Jones. But at $75 after fees, I can see a Sarah Jaffe headlining show at a place like the EARL 4 or 5 times… 😆

I need to, LWJ, I need to. Thanks to you & your fantastic “linkability”, I have found several new “guest appearance” songs to download, with two more in the not-to-distant future. I need to update the Wikipedia list as well.

Thanks for the heads up, LWJ. I had some promotional MP3 download credits at Amazon.com to burn, so I downloaded both of the aforementioned tracks here (note, they are listed as track #’s 4 & 5, not the “first two tracks” as stated by the article quoted above)…

I’m driving from N. Georgia down to Jacksonville, FL to see Chuck Prophet & Mission Express at Jack Rabbit’s. Attending the show with me will be West Words.
I can’t wait for the show – this will be the first time I have seen Chuck w/ his full band – the only other time I have seen him live was a (great) solo show at Eddie’s Attic a couple of years ago. He doesn’t stray this far from San Francisco that often… 😉

Well, I’ll try to go in without TOO high of an expectation level. After all, it would have to be pretty durn good for me to like it more than *my* all-time favorite movie: the Coen Brothers masterpiece, “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” 😉
