I just gotta say again, what a very cool thing for Lucinda, Tom, and everyone to do for the fans. What a great way to spend a Thursday night, drinking wine and listening to a Lucinda show. And the sound quality is awesome, too.
Indeed.
Now, here comes “Rarity”. Take a sip of wine, kick back, and enjoy… 😉

Lu rocks! 😀
Ya durn tootin’, Colorado!
Tom
tntracyParticipantThe show’s started now. It’s considerably louder! Sounds great!
Tom
tntracyParticipantHow’s everyone else’s volume? I have everything (computer volume, speaker volume & Silverlight player volume) turned up to the max and it is not very loud. Maybe it’ll get louder once the show starts…
Of course, I like things CRANKED! 😈
Tom
tntracyParticipantI just got a feed on the Webcast. Stills of Lu & some cool background tunes…
Tom
tntracyParticipantI think it’s unanimous that this is a cool idea… 😉

While things are certainly challenging right now, Lucinda is doing great. She is enjoying playing live more than she ever has, she feels more confident on stage and feels she has the best band she’s ever had. The band is really playing great and there is a real rapport with Lucinda. A lot of the things that are happening are out of our control but the one thing we do have control over is playing the best show we can. As long as the shows are great all is good. And the feedback on this tour from both fans and press has been virtually unanimous. After the NY show i talked to an A&R person who had scouted Lucinda way back when she was a young lass, and he said “I’ve been seeing Lucinda for 28 years and this was by far the best she has ever been-on so many levels”. The people that are coming out to the shows have been fantastic and Little Honey debuted in the Top 10, That would be a first for her and after all these years, a fantastic accomplishment. She’s worked very very hard for that but none of it could have happened without the amazing fan support she has had–now and always. Someone told me recently “take care of her -she is an American treasure”. My bias and interest are obvious, but she is a treasure, and I think she’s never been better night after night and I hope everyone can come out and see that.
I think this says it all, Tom. I’m very happy to hear Lu is enjoying touring right now & is in such fine spirits. I’d agree from what I saw Friday in Nashville – Lu & the band looked and sounded great & everyone sure seemed like they were having a great time. I know I did, especially after I could get up & really enjoy the show w/o pissing off the people around me! And I agree with y’all – after seeing her in several different types of venues – reserved seating everywhere, GA everywhere outside (i.e., summer music festivals), GA seated floor & GA standing floor – the best shows are always the ones with GA standing floor. No doubt. The proof was in Nashville. It really was like two different shows, and it was all due to the energy shown by the crowd once we all got on our feet.
Thanks for your comments & insight, Tom. Believe me, your efforts to inform & engage the fan base are very much appreciated.

I think tonight’s second set just might be made up of at least 1 song from every one of Lucinda’s albums played in chronological order, starting with a selection from Ramblin’ and going up thru the West album.
Cool! Great idea!
Tom
tntracyParticipantRay, I think your situation, although not specifically listed in the poll, would fit better under the “financial” option; i.e., due to circumstances beyond your control, rather than a willful avoidance of attending.

My fingers are crossed that they all survive. There’s a lot of work to do and as a result it will be some time before these recordings see the light of day, if ever.
Oh man, that sounds incredible. I’m so glad you & Lu got your hands back on those tapes. Whatever does survive would be awesome in a boxed set!
Tom
tntracyParticipantYeah, Little Honey is sweet, ain’t it?
So how is Cardinology? I need to order a copy.

tntracyParticipantI’ll second the call for 2XL & 3XL shirts. T-shirts run real small these days, and we big boys are often left out… 👿
Tom
tntracyParticipantWow, this is great (preliminary) news. If it pans out for Lu, I will be very happy for her! 😀
