Haunted, I think that is ridiculous that you can’t buy a single seat! Enjoy the show in Holyoke; I’ll be there too.TimParticipanthttp://www.nodepression.com/profiles/blogs/neil-young-delivers-emotional
TimParticipantGreat Job, Lafayette! Your persistence paid off.
TimParticipantThird Row; Center Stage. Stoger, are you coming?
TimParticipantThat was another classic, stevarino!
TimParticipantA mention of the record that is 2 1/2 months from being released:

TimParticipantYes Roger, the night had a “Portsmouth” vibe to it. It was nice to see Eilen watching one of her biggest influences that night. Her music is so real and earthy, almost a throwback to the ’30’s & ’40’s. We thought she ended the night with an incredible version of “If You Catch Me Stealin’ “, a song Bessie Smith once did, which got people up & moving. She and her band really Swing!, it’s just natural. After they left the stage, they returned to do the title song from the new record (Queen Of The Minor Key); a title that Eilen richly deserves. Her songwriting has really taken off. They’ve played more than 150 shows the last four years, and this year will be no different. It would be nice to see her do some shows with Lucinda, but I wouldn’t be happy with only a 45 minute set.
She did show us where she has three signatures on her guitar. Loretta Lynn, Lucinda Williams and Mavis Staples; not too bad there.TimParticipantEilen and her band (Jerry Miller-electric guitar, Johnny Sciacca-upright bass, Jason Beek-drums, backing vocals) were outstanding on Friday night. They played alot of songs from “Letters From Sinners & Strangers” and “Sea Of Tears”, did two Loretta Lynn songs, and three terrific songs from their upcoming album; “I Remember You”, “Santa Fe” and “Queen Of The Minor Key”. This is as tight a unit as you will see anywhere!
TimParticipantThanks for posting the video, LWjetta! You do a great job out here!
