This taping could turn out to be the DVD from this year. I was hoping Lucinda’s people would record one or a number of her shows for a DVD. If that doesn’t happen, they may use the footage from this taping to compile it. It’ll be better than nothing.

Carrie Rodriguez is playing the Pier on Thursday night. Maybe Doug & Lucinda will stop by and see her. They had some interesting jams in April when Carrie was opening for them.

Thank you for the link, Lefty. Carrie is a great musician & singer, and also a great person. I can’t wait to see her again somewhere down the road.

I’ll second that! That would be the ultimate; either the LA shows or the NYC shows, it wouldn’t matter to me.

Lefty, I think I would like that, but I don’t want to get beat up either.

Sorry Lefty, your post didn’t appear ’til just now. Yes, I would gladly volunteer to help if I can.

Ray, for one thing, I think the fact that there will be no opening act should help. Hopefully Lu won’t have to utter the dreaded “C” word! Get onstage on time.

I don’t think Underwhelmed is taunting anyone. He was asked why he didn’t like the performance, and he gave his reasons. We might not agree, but that is his opinion.

Doug came aboard a little before World Without Tears. From that point until last year the band was: Doug; guitars, harmonica, backing vocals
    Taras Prodaniuk: Bass guitar
    Jimmy Christie: Drums, percussion

This band was one of the best bands I’ve ever heard in my life. The rythym section was astonishing!

Lefty, I’m sure Dylan can afford him; but I hope he doesn’t come up with the money. I’d miss him.

I have noticed on another website that she is scheduled to play that night in Wayne, NJ.
