TimParticipant
Here’s a little bit more info. People who have heard the record are raving about it. I was hoping to see Carrie possibly open some dates for Lucinda, but those days may be gone.

TimParticipantLooks awesome, Lefty!
TimParticipantThe years with The Love Band was when she played long shows. They could just go on and on. I like the current band, but really miss Taras & Jimmy Christie (2002-2006). They had something that was intangible!
TimParticipantGood; hope you can make it , Lefty! Sounds like it’s beautiful out there.
TimParticipantI think you’re just about right on. It’s about a tour bus.
TimParticipantThanks for the post, Shug.
TimParticipantJust found a link to Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW. It’s a video of Tift Merritt performing in the studio, and in her band is Doug Pettibone.

TimParticipantEnjoy the show Lefty; it should be a good one. Is it at The Egg?
TimParticipantStoger; I think she’s due to play at night, because it’ll be the 2nd day of the festival. I see it starting around 2:30 and the headliner coming on from 9-10:15.
TimParticipantStoger; I was wondering about that myself. She’s playing in MI and then is scheduled to play in Greenfield the next night. Knowing that Lucinda does not like to fly, it may not be possible to make that gig. She’s being advertised as the headliner of the festival; hopefully if she can’t make it, the festival people will let people know that.
TimParticipantThank you for the info, Inside Job. Great news about the headlining tour.
TimParticipantI’m disappointed with this pairing. I don’t think I want to go to the Boston shows. If Lucinda was the headliner I would; I just am not interested in Johnny Cougar. Lu will play about 45 minutes or so; it’s not worth it to me. I’ll be happy to see her in Lowell; and maybe a week later in Greenfield.
Carrie Rodriguez was just announced at The Iron Horse in Northampton on June 19, I may make that show, too.
P.S. I think Lucinda will do these shows with him; but in the fall (especially if the album is out) will do a theatre tour of the US.TimParticipantGreat article. Thank you, Lefty!
TimParticipantParker; it’s hard to argue with that list. I’d like to include “Essence” and “Greenville”, but wouldn’t want to pick which songs to replace.
