Tom, thank you very much for the link. I have to get this. Just bought Charlie’s new album last month and really enjoying it.
Lefty, I saw Lucinda do this song for the first time in 2005. She did all the vocals herself that night, but explained to the audience that it was written as a duet. She mentioned Jack White’s name that night as a possible partner when it was to be recorded!

This is an approximate setlist. I was too into the music to write them down. I think I have all the songs, but not in the exact order. Thought Lucinda sounded great! and the band was clicking on all cylinders. Got to talk with Doug for a minute before the show. No, I was not involved in the fight. (Only in Boston; and the woman yelling out after the first couple songs: “Turn up the sound will ya, we’re not that f*****g old!”)

Firehorse, I know how you must feel. I would say after seeing Lu during the last two years that it is hit or miss. The real good shows are much fewer and far between. Good luck.
I have to agree with alot of the sentiments expressed here by some big & longtime Lucinda Williams fans. When Tom Overby posts something I usually see three things. Propaganda, spin & BS! He must have a megaphone in one hand and a pom-pom in the other. Nothing but a cheerleader.
