ParticipantYou’re welcome, Tom. No, I do not have any tickets to any Lucinda shows at this time. Been seeing other artists lately.

ParticipantAll great things come to an end, Steve. I’m just glad it lasted as long as it did. I ate it up while it was happening! Doug is very happy with what he is doing now.

ParticipantGlad to hear you say that, Lefty! We need the objectivity here.

ParticipantI agree Tom; “Sea Of Tears” is a step up for Eilen and the band. I like the fact that it has more of a Rock & Roll sound to it, with Eilen even playing organ on three tracks. When I last saw them Eilen commented on the organ playing and mentioned that she’s never played it on stage. She said, “It’s pretty hard to carry an organ around with you when you’re traveling the country in a van!” I can’t wait for the next record, but it may be awhile. They’ve been on the road most of the year and are heading to Europe in a few weeks for a month and a half of touring. When they get back to the States’ they are booked thru February.

ParticipantThanks for posting before you went to sleep, Tony. Sounds like it was quite the show. “Jackson” with Mr Lauderdale must have been great.

Participanttony, have you become the Thought Police! If so, I want my money back. If not, you can keep it. Should I send my posts to you first for approval or not? Do you want to edit them? Have fun tonight at the show!

ParticipantGlad that you like it Tom. Her previous album is also very good. I started hearing her name mentioned a few years ago, but it wasn’t until I heard a few songs on the radio that she really got my attention. They are excellent in concert. I plan on seeing them again on Dec 12 in Northampton, MA. Take care.

ParticipantI didn’t make it to Lake George, but Eilen & her band have been getting rave reviews on their tour of the U.S. This is one hot band! Their “Sea Of Tears” album is the best I’ve heard this year.

ParticipantYes, John (better known as Flappy) is no longer with Lucinda. He left about a year and a half ago.

ParticipantI saw Lucinda there in 2007, Tom. The Carolina Theatre is a beautiful venue.
