Wow Tom, you got so excited you forgot the setlist.  But I’ll take a “rain check” (weak pun, in light of NC weather) on that.  Great visuals.  And I bet that fan who googled the “FOOLISHNESS” lyrics was pleased–even without words like “racism” and “sexism” and “agism” officially in them.

Ha: generous set, co-bill really.  Did Lu go first or second?  At any rate, some of the best visuals posted on this site are right here.  That last one says it all, though Botanical Gardens with its lily pads and local crew expectations that the Lu crew help assemble equipment still leaves a bad taste in my mouth too.

OK, tony’s pic wasn’t enough to move me, but with mug shots of lafayette and SamishSeaMike visible, I may have to consider the visage of Stoger Ranley for public consumption.  Let me ponder.

Two threads with two Tony pics, both about Winston-salem: love that mug shot, big boy.  The more ubiquitous the better.

Allow me to play Lefty to Pancho’s fine list, with a few comments: Lu called “Prove My Love” one of those “early, innocent” songs, then added “unlike the next one. . .” which was of course “Those 3 Days.”

The “Lake Charles” intro was elaborate, mentioning father Miller both before and after. She retold the anecdote about Hank Williams and her father having a beer, revealed her exact age and that she was born the same month HW died, noted that her father died on a January 1 (same day as Hank did, 62 years later), then predicted that Miller is “hanging out with Hank” in the afterlife.

Lu dug the chandeliers at the Valley Dale Ballroom, even comparing it to the Fillmore SF (!?!?!?).

Thanks actually to Mike rather than Tony (who has his plate full otherwise) for this actual post. As I suspected, I couldn’t find the “edit” feature for the two I left out of the Bloom setlist. So it’s actually (14) Protection (15) Essence (16) Dust (17) Foolishness (18) HOneybee. That is, I think so. Kudos to Tom for the nudge.

I will have to betray the Tar Heel State in this case, Rainydayman. Have fun in the early evening outdoors August NC climate–and go Apps!!!

thanks, Tony and Mike. Mike, I sorely miss riding with you from show to show; thanks for that. The new song has both Lu and Butch instrumentally, and it gets stronger and stronger.

Tony, no prefix or hyphen is needed; you are my favorite moderator PERIOD.  Parker, had this “new and improved” Forum not flustered me so, I would have given you a shout-out by now.  Harrumph.

For both your KC setlist and IC setlist efforts, Tony, I applaud you and award you the highest “Mr. S” gold star. Try taking that to bank.

Hey, all my words and letters visible. Why would the screen size be inconsistent though from thread to thread? Thanks Tony. Are you billing Hello Cleve. mng. for overtime this weeK?

Wow. Do I actually see my own
words on this Forum screen? Well, not all of
them. Is there a way to widen the
screen which I am missing? Why bother with bracketed
commentary if it won’t show up? Oh well. Thanks tony. Maybe this
thing will be user-friendly by early 2018.

I weighed in on Salt Lake I too, by email; maybe someone could cut/paste that.
