This one came out of nowhere. Context? Opener for someone I guess?
stogerParticipantI always thought it was Facebook Dead. Good to hear Mr. Blake is back in the saddle after Mr. Eric held duties in Europe.
stogerParticipantGood work, Tony: I believe you had to miss this one, or am I wrong? West Words and Samish? By the way, who is TM–an Austinite or an ex-Austinite? Good list, good pics in any case.
stogerParticipantThanks to tonyg and Samish for posting: glad you two + west words got to see the show. You like the new song?
stogerParticipantI knew you were not Burning any Bridges, Mike, just inf0-sharing. I have a few of Morlix’s records and like his stuff. But no, no CA jaunt this time for this Tennessee boy, alas.
stogerParticipantDid I note the words “Gurf Morlix” only one paragraph removed from the word “Lu’s”?
stogerParticipantPoor? Poor? I believe I lead a RICH (albeit non-cyberized) life, thank you very much. And Oct. 30 is a Monday, no can do. But at least it explains the routing between New Jersey and Arkansas.
stogerParticipantNegative negative negative negative. I wish. Perhaps “west words” can affirm.
stogerParticipantYes, Brooklyn Bowl sucked. They won’t be playing there again. Exiting the gritty tube station directly into Retail Hell did nothing for my pre-show morale. The church they played next London visit was far superior.
stogerParticipantGood to hear David hadn’t kicked back too much with his red wine, still being in range. Wish I could have been there.
stogerParticipantThanks, exile. “Over Time” is a significant addition, and I could hear two, three, four Lu solo in mid-set, no offense to the boys.
stogerParticipantYou betray your New England origins here, Tony.
stogerParticipantYes, but is it pronounced like the salty meat Ham-burg, or with the “ah” vowel sound? You are trained in this area, eh Tony?
stogerParticipantRockin’ out of the gate to be sure, Mike. Exile, too bad you didn’t get “You Can’t Always Get…”, given your handle here, but Bowie in the Low Country must have been mighty fine. I’ve been to Paradiso and regret I couldn’t this leg.
stogerParticipantGo Finns! Two cities I have lived in, Wilmington DE and Jackson TN, have made a list of ten WORST places to reside in US, so I’ll keep Ham and Hel in mind for my dotage/retirement years.
