Man, that’s a great setlist on land or at sea: don’t mind reading it twice! “Crescent City” wow. And I’m glad she played Bone again. Separate set for Buick 6? The boys deserve it. Have the storms abated?

Thanks to Mike and to Native Ink. It’s harder and harder to log in and stay logged in here, at least for me. I will try to post last Saturday’s Orlando setlist in a minute. No I am not on cruise (see our Jersey contingent for that) but will be at the next landlubber’s show in FL Friday, God willing.

In the format in Jack and Orlando, Erika went on promptly at 7:30, six I believe solo acoustic songs. The turnaround to Lu was pretty quick, so I’m thinking Lu started at 8:15, if not 8:10-ish. Lu had 12 or 13 songs, maybe just a hair over an hour. The Truckers kept us waiting, at least second night, maybe starting at 10 and playing til 11:15 or even later. That order will not change. See ticket time for any variances on Erika from 7:30.

And I’m going to embed my Orlando setlist here, for fear that any Forum movement will take away the “Howdy Stoger logo” visible above.

    1. Protection
[crowd insists on singing “Happy Birthday” in transition, but at least Lu smiles]
    2 Real Live Bleeding
    3 Can’t Let Go
    4 Pineola
    5 Drunken A
    6 Lake C
7 Convince Me {lu notes they took that one “out of hiding”]
8 Out of Touch [“and so we are”]
    9 Bone of Contention (recorded but unreleased–I myself remember her playing it some four, five, six years ago: after, Lu notes that felt good to belt it out. I had forgotten that “666” is part of the lyrics}
    10 Foolishness
    11 Joy
12 Hey Hey My My [some hesitation prior, as Butch’s opening drum pattern is at odds with how Lu wants her version to go]
    13 Honeybee

Note three beautiful loser songs in a row. Note not only Convince me and Bone of Contention, but The Awakening from the night before. When I have to think twice about which album a given song is on, you know it’s been awhile. Tom Overby even had to correct me in one case 🙂

This is a new topic. It is entitled “I guess I’ll post the setlists again, if anybody gives a shit.”

    Jacksonville Setlist:

    1. Right in Time
    2 Car Wheels
    3 Drunken Angel
4 Fruits (Lu blows kisses to crowd after, in token of the great reception)
    5 West Memphis
6 The Awakening (Lu notes after that it had not been played in ages)
    7 Protection
    8 Changed the Locks
    9 Essence
    10 Foolishness
    11 Joy
12 NEIL (“hey hey my my”)

Never mind; it seems back to snuff. For awhile, it had Nov. listings for odd cities.

Nice gentle use of the imperative form here, Tony. But none of us mind being commanded by Mr. TonyG. Same nights of the week as the original two shows even! I’ll be there, climate permitting.

Thanks to Tom for the background and D for fine reflections on her “hometown show.” I got to get my butt in gear and head North X Northeast.

Shy? Shy? Who knew that mere months later, TonyG would open his home not only to Tim, but to yours truly. Ah, more innocent days. . .

Venue was outdoor Ascend Amphitheater, downtown. Myself and “musiclover” constituted the most famous faces I noted in the crowd.

Hey, isn’t this very Forum a kind of “social media platform?” But thanks. I suspect this list is complete, though a Tar Heel State addition or two wouldn’t come amiss. Volunteer State too. Hint hint wink nudge.

I’m so glad you asked, T. Number nine was an LSD tour debut, “Blessed.” An apparent request from a Minnesotan (not her spouse) who has the entire lyrics tattooed about his person. And sure enough, as I sprinted up the aisle at intermission after the song, a burly Midwestern type had his shirt askew, baring his green-tinted pecs for the ladies near his seat. I veered past with scarcely a glance.

Charlotte setlist was same as Atlanta, without Get Right at end.

    Rainydayman, what were your impressions?
