My [sailin’] hat’s off to you, Skipper. I’m not surprised that “Still I Long For Your kiss” is back in , in light of Duane Jarvis’ untimely death this past week. I’m wondering if Lucinda commented beforehand. But even more, I’m wondering if Eric Schermerhorn matched his blistering “Tears of Joy” blues solo on “Still.” Looks like the encore was different, the main set much the same as Aussie Night One. Was Canberra the third show of tour? Did we get a setlist for second gig? Shouldn’t have to rely on the manager to post same. . . Still, thanks for this stream of lists and comments.
stogerParticipantI have it on pretty good authority, Dr. W, that London will be in the mix. Whether that’s before or after the Cambridge Folk Fest, I’m not quite clear. INdigo2 again perhaps? Nice small house. Two nights running would be divine.
stogerParticipantI cross-posted this under the Santa Fe stream, but http://www.tickets.com is listing and selling a July 11 show in Belgium.
stogerParticipantSo as not to discourage people on prices, http://www.tickets.com is offering 39-dollar GA tickets to Lu in Santa Fe, with the Flatlanders (43.50 including surcharges). Apparently there’s a GA (standing?) category at this new, second Santa Fe venue, unlike the original site. I took my seventh row exchange gladly, but now I’m wondering if there will be a large standing area in front of me.
Also, the same website is selling for July 11 in Belgium, a city I was unfamiliar with. Paul, that one has your name written all over it, though I can’t go myself.

Reports from Melbourne, Part Deux?Amen, Lefty: isn’t it second week of April ’bout Down Under, by now? Two shows or three uncommented on? C’mon, mates–please.

stogerParticipantAs High Road indicates, this show has been moved to a bigger venue and Lucinda (+ Ryan Bingham) confirmed w/ The Flatlanders. Lu will close, it would seem. I got a personal phone call from box office, shifted to same row (seventh), aisle seat, in new venue. It seems I saved myself twenty or 25 bucks by risking the early order, as the person mentioned a whopping 69 dollar per ticket charge now!
stogerParticipantD-18 in stalls, everybody. Not too shabby, though still to back skull of Paul et. al. Thanks for the seetickets.com link, which trumps the venue link by miles. And now to research those Kentucky and Missouri shows. . .

stogerParticipantThanks, Paul: I’ll try again, and I’m sure I’ll see the back of your head in the distance from my eventual Manchester seat.

Excellent seats are still available for the July 30 show in Manchester, England, at

The ticketing engine allows you to select your own seat.
Be aware the E-Mail receipt system is not working properly. You may need to call the box office to obtain your confirmation code. From the USA, the calling digits are:
011-44-161-907-9000.
Cheers–Paul, were you able to choose a single seat and purchase? There’s some problem with the security of the whole Bridgewater web site now–and I’ve tried it from two different computers. When it comes time to select a seat, a security command about improper link to access system or some such appears; I can proceed, but not to the pick a seat feature. I can click on “best seat available” chosen for me and maybe purchase, but this put me in Stall K; the one time I got in to look at the chart, five seats on row A were available. I got kicked out of the system before I could buy, though. Could some computer guru among our friendly Forum go to the bridgewater site and see what the issue is, whether you can pick a seat? I’m stymied.
stogerParticipantI’m on it, guys.
stogerParticipantAdvance, advance? I think April Fool’s Day (and thus the first concert Down Under) had already come and gone by the time you wrote, Lefty–certainly has now. I join Visions and Lefty: anyone out there?
stogerParticipantSounds like a certain Georgian has been map-questing: thanks for the precision of these drive times, and we all know “English” and his stable of mounts can get them there in good time. Here’s hoping your personal atlas is at stake on some of these routes, Tom, and we’ll see you at a few.
stogerParticipantThanks for posting, guys. I talked to DJ at a San Diego (Humphrey’s) Lucinda aftershow a couple of years ago, and I won’t soon forget a show where he was P F Sloan’s lone sideman. At Lu’s Austin show last month, I thought of the lines “I’ll meet you/at La Zona Rosa” from one song on that same Far From Perfect album. All thoughts and prayers. . .
