    Wish I were “on to the Keswick” too–thanks for posting. Couple of relatively unperformed gems off Essence, I note, and that instrumental version of “P K” sounds attractive–when is Lu going to walk on early to do the funked-up “Well Well Well” with the boys? Ah, to be in the Keystone State about now. . .

    Prudent counsel, Tony. At one recent show, we got “Those 3 Days,” “Come On,” and “Essence” almost back to back to back (note correct placement of commas inside q marks). 😀

    I guess there definitely were some forgotten parts, tntracy, since “SIDEWALKS OF THE CITY” was not noted by the first individual. My god: haven’t heard that one live ever save the Sweet Old World in its entirety El Rey night. Thanks to both posters, particularly “Rhon” for those comments. Ramshead remains special for you, it would seem, despite the new barriers up front near stage. Wonder what prompted the Wayne Coyne (sp.?)/Thievery Corp. cover to be done again? And “Sweet Side” was good to see back in. No sound woes, no false starts, rollin’ right back along. Saturday night in PA, huh? My my.

    Thanks for brain-checking, David. That sounds likely–though it has been a solo song this tour, making it unlikely the band would walk on during the first verses of “Blessed,” finish it, then walk back off. But don’t stress out over it. Maybe “L C” was late in the main set.” At any rate, you saw a good one.

    Get Right With God

    Did I leave anything out?

    I might have the order wrong. “Get Right With God” was definitely last.

    Does anyone know the first song Buick 6 performed? It reminded me of a Ry Cooder song but I can’t think of the name of it. I’m not saying it is a Ry Cooder song. I don’t know

    I have 2 suggestions:

    “Change? I got your change right here.”
    THIS FIRST ABOVE IS CORRECT USAGE. SIGNED, THE GRAMMAR POLICE
    “Call someone who cares”.

    Admittedly those are not warm and fuzzy. Also, should the period go before or after the quotation mark in the above? I did it both ways and neither looks right. Perhaps Stoger will set me straight.

    * oh my god

    Great night, as tntracy mentioned. Good also to meet “boots” from Forum and see “su_gar” from Forum again. Blake did six songs to open, three with Butch stage right in light percussion accompaniment! The last two were covers, Bobby Charles and a chick singer named Williams respectively. Crowd noise was an issue. But when Lu came on, she praised Athens, the pre-renovated venue, REM in retirement, etc etc. Good rockin’ this night, for sure for sure.
