Thank you both for your information. I can certainly understand why Las Vegas is a hard place to play. And especially for someone like Lucinda. I have lived here my entire life and have seen the prices of shows, concets, etc. skyrocket. Unfortunately I didn’t discover Lucinda until earlier this year. shame one me!! I had always heard her name but never knew who she was. One night i was up late and I went to Amazon and listened to some of her stuff. Wow, I was totally hooked. I bought and downloaded all 8 of her CD’s and stayed up the entire night listening to her. My daughter is in her early twenties and my concert buddy. I told her about Lucinda the next morning and she is also hooked. We did see the San Diego show and I haven’t played any other music since. I can’t wait for “Little Honey” to come out. I will be having extensive back surgery this year and do in the future I will be able to catch more of her shows. I just love her. I can’t express how great she is. I can listen to her songs over and over and each time I hear something different. Let her know that she has a mother daughter combo here in Vegas that are true fans.

to tell you the truth i am obsessed, can’t stop singing her songs, soon as i get home i turn on Ventura……………

    🙄

I discovered Lucinda one night last March. I was on Amazon checking out artists and I listened to some of her music. Wow, I was instantly hooked and bought all of her CD’s right then. I LOVE her music so much. She is different than most artists and I can’t quite put my finger on it. I love the words she uses because I write poetry and her imagery is fabulous. She definately takes me to a different place. By the way, my daughter and I are going to the San Diego show too. If you are interest in meeting, then pm me. I’m not a crazed lunatic…well sometimes, and I like meeting new people.

    Get well soon, Sister.

Thank you Lefty. Your concern is much appreciated. Good news!!!! I am going to be able to go to the concert afterall. My problem is that I have a very bad back and am underging treatments. But my son is going to go and help me drive. By the way, I live in Las Vegas and have been to San Diego a few times. I get very confused at the way it is laid out. Any tips for easier navigation through the city? Also where is the best and closest place to stay near the concert? I think everyone on this board is so nice and I appreciate your help.

    Be well, Sister.

Thank you so much for your words and the link to the pain management site. I looked at it and really like it. I just left nursing after 15 years, and I totally believe in alternative methods for pain relief and other ailments as well. I do find so much relief in music and my mp3 player is stacked with all my favorite artists. I just put on my headphones and listen away. I hope to meet many of you on this board through our discussions about Lu and other positive topics. I am a fan of another huge female rock star and have quit going to the message board I belong to. It has turned real negative with a lot of backbiting and inapropriate topics. I know she wouldn’t like it knowing her fans are acting so negatively. Music is meant to uplift and bring us together. 😆

I have been listening to Lu for several days and I am blown away by her music. Where has she been all my life or rather where have I been all her life. I love this lady and her music is awesome. It is always good to add another great artist to your list of favorites. I really hope she tours the Western states this year because I would love to see her. I hear she is really good to her fans and is a generally nice person. Besides I am in her age group; younger though; and it is so good to have someone sing about the things I can relate to. Her choice of words and imagery and thought provoking and emotionally striking. To sum it up, I have had a year of poor health that continues with chronic pain, and her music is sweet relief to me.

I think Lucinda is very nice to her fans. I’ve met her a few times and she always took time to talk to me, sign items or take photos. There aren’t a whole lot of stars that will do that nowadays.

Thanks for the info. It is nice when celebrities take the time to acknowledge their fans.

I have loved music all my life. Last night I went to Amazon downloads and listened to some of Lucinda’s music. To say the least, I was blown away. I bought all of her downloads which I think was 8. I stayed up all night with mp3 player and listened to her. I am totally mesmerized by her. She is awesome and I absolutely love her. I am surprised I never discovered her before. I look forward to meeting you and discussing this great singer and song writer. Let’s rock!!!!!!!!
