    It kills me that Lu is playing NYC on Oct. 3rd.
    I hav e tickets to a rescheuled perfomance of Jerry Lee Lewis at BB KING’S on that date. Hopefully, since there is an opening act for Lu, maybe she won’t be on until 9:30, and I might miss the first 15 minutes of Lu’s set. JLL’s sets are usually over by 9:30. Can someone ask Lu to wait for me? 🙂

    I can’t stop listening to Amy Winehouse. She is really brilliant, and a great writer, too.

    Lu, Amy and Aretha are the most soulful singers alive today.
