Mike_DoranParticipant
Thanks Paul..
Hadn’t seen that they posted the daily schedule yet.. Working out an itinerary as I type. Looking forward to being at both Lu performances.
The crowds are definitely a challenge.. one that traveling solo I usually have pretty good luck/skill at navigating. But each year is getting a little more difficult, must admit.
Another nice thing about this festival is the local concerts by some of the artists around town in the evenings. Likely going to a Chuck Prophet show and perhaps the Wood Brothers this trip. Last time Lu played she did a local show, but nothing this year it appears. An in store appearance at Amoeba records to promote album would be cool.. Just a thought. 😎

Album Release Party & Lucinda Acoustic Set in LA 9.29
JUST ADDED, tickets on sale now in the PledgeMusic store! To celebrate the 25th Anniversary & re-recording of “Sweet Old World,” we’ve decided to throw a little party & you are invited! The VIP event will take place at Swinghouse Studios in Atwater Village (LA) on street date, Friday, September 29th. Doors will open at 8pm, come mix & mingle with fellow fans & hear the new versions in a studio environment. Around 8:30pm, Lucinda will take the stage to perform a short acoustic set of classics from the album! Each ticket also includes a CD & album download, CD’s will be handed out at the door and hopefully you can get it signed in person. We’ll keep playing the album until they kick us out! There will be a cash bar set up courtesy of MOMED. Your name will be on the guest list at the door, please bring a picture ID. We can’t wait to celebrate the album with you

Mike_DoranParticipantSite is working well.
One thing that I notice missing, perhaps intentionally, is a link to Lu’s FB page. I don’t post on FB myself, but occasionally like to refer to it and found the link to it from here handy. – Mike
*Also- could be me just not finding it..
Mike_DoranParticipantThanks, exile…
Great setlist! First three songs are perhaps the best openers I could script.
Mike_DoranParticipantWould love to see video of that encore…
Mike_DoranParticipantSucker for the shirts.
Likely the artwork from the cover, but anxious to see what comes! Looking forward to this release as well as hearing it live (if more rumored live shows come to pass) !!
Mike_DoranParticipantNice words from Tom.
We’ve Come Too Far To Turn Around is a great song – Particularly in light of today’s turbulant times, just as Walk On was for the marches. Including You Can’t Always Get What You Want (not played at WT) in the set lists is also -not only because it’s a great song , but also because it was played mockingly at the conventions and his (won’t say his name either, Lu) conventions and rallies.. Walk/Rock On…
