Paul from LA.. I have only been to one other show at the Roseland in Portland and did not have any issues with security nor have I heard of any.. Of course I’m in Seattle and not Portland, but would say the crowds there are a bit ore “raucous”… which isn’t necessarily a bad thing…
You have me thinking that perhaps I shoould be leaning towards getting reserved seats as opposed to GA floor tickets though…

My wife Michelle will not be able to make that one out of the three and is (righteously) bummed.
So I am going to have to downplay my enthusiasm about that one a little…but it does have the potential to be the best of the northwest shows.Portland is always a good crowd though,and the Redmond show (festival) is outdoors… that’s always a plus!

Should be a great three days…Under the heading of… I used to think I was savvier than this…. Does anyone know how to get a
“pre-sale” code for the show in Portland ? Tickets go on sale on July 9th with a “pre-sale” on July 7th..No other info that I could find…I e-mailed the venue (Roseland Theater).. Just thought I’d ask.
I’m in for Eugene, Portland and Redmond !!! And envying those going to California..

The West and North West!! I am so looking forward. I did pick up tix for Maryoore, but the prospect of more shows with Lucinda headlining and the other “mystery” artist (Susan Tedeschi?!?) has me very excited and curious..
I can understand the northwest being logistically difficult. But following Lu from Portland to Seattle to Spokane,to Vancouver,BC sounds like a really fun late summer(?) road trip.
It’s a long way to the top…..

I am clearing my schedule around that date (there..that was easy..) in hopes while she travels up here she does another concert(s) up here in the beautiful Northwest!Any Portland,Seattle or Vancouver venue would work….

Anywhere!!Last year we were fortunate to see her several times.
The most memorable was at a place called the Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Great concert.
I was traveling across country picking up a friends car and planned the trip around a few Lucinda concerts.Met Lucinda after and got an autograph on my ticket stub (currently framed with my favorite Lucinda concert poster)! Whiskey Roadhouse and Lucinda Williams. A natural fit.
