This is an odd one and I’m sure the e-bay seller must be mistaken..
But I had to throw it out there?? Stubbs.. Indoor show @ 3:30 AM ???
I’ve already got my tickets for the (legitimate) May 7th show.. But ????

Tom? (if you could be so kind as to confirm my suspicion??)

I hope Lafayette was confirmed, and the presales are announced soon…

Maycation here we come!!! (I am bringing my wife and five year old on this trip and am pleased that at least most will be outdoor/family friendly)

Has anyone been to Stubbs or the Beale Streat festival that has any recommendations on wether or not to bring an (earplug wearing)five year old Lucinda FAN or not?? Or any of the other venues in the may gulf coast(ish) leg?
( Austin, Houston , NO Jazz festival, NO House of Blues, Memphis, Fayetteville and MAYBE La Fayette?)

I am currently planning on switching off with my wife (Michelle) on all indoor venues, and bringing the 5yr old (Kristina) to all outdoor venues with the exception of perhaps Beale Street, unless otherwise advised..

    Thanks in advance..
    Mike

    Thanks, and I can’t wait!!!

    PS
Under shows.. it still lists “buy tickets” for Austin, I’m not missing anything am I ??

I apologize to the forum members and to Tom for my bad manners and impatience.

I offer no excuse and genuinely feel badly that I posted such an out of character remark.

Just got my (much anticipated) latest issue of Rolling Stone.

Much anticipated because I knew they’d review the awesome Bridge School concert that I am still “coming down” from.

Not one word regarding Lucinda’s performance or even attendance.

    Extremely disappointed.
I drove 13 hours there and thirteen hours home PRIMARILY because of her being on the bill, and I can’t for the life of me figure out why she doesn’t get the much earned/deserved respect.

Their loss.(perhaps of my subscription )

    Is it just me??

But if I were to post on this board a comment like.. “I’ll have an update tomorrow”..

I would respect the forum and it’s members enough to do so.

    Just sayin’

Not sure who it was who scooped up the papers,(a random stage hand?) but Lucinda did handle it nicely with a little laugh.

I did take some pics and a little video, but to be honest.. I tried (unsuccessfully) to post pics on here before to no avail..( I really need to figure it out and will try again..) but in the meantime here is one of the finale I grabbed from you tube. You can really see the fan in her and the enjoyment of the fellow musicians.

    Mediocre??

The only thing mediocre about Lucinda’s performance on Saturday was the weather.
(And being from Seattle,..I even LOVED that)

I drove the fifteen hours each way to catch this amazing concert.

It was a tough decision to rationalize, but Lucinda being on the line-up clinched it.
I was more than shocked to read a negative from a mediocre reviewer.

I thought she put on an amazing set and would drive the distance again in a heartbeat.
She truly seemed to be having such a good time playing with the other musicians, her energy lifted the whole concert.

    Loved it!

Gotta wonder why Lucinda isn’t playing on Sunday as well as Saturday…

I suppose I should be grateful (and I AM) for this late summer/early fall west coast extravaganza, but as most are playing both days…

Should be a couple of great shows!!

I am still trying to rationalize the cost of another trip down the coast, but this was way too cool an opportunity to pass on…

When buying the tickets they had an option I hadn’t ran into before of buying a “four pack”.

So I did, lawn seating for both days..
My wife’s on board, now I have to talk two friends into coming with and sharing expenses…

But, this should be well worth it!

I’m so glad that it was posted here and links provided…
    Thanks!!

Took a snap of this reader board from the on-site snack counter at Roseland…

Lu rated higher on the bill than the “creamy tomato” soup… but did it get two stars to Lucinda’s one??

    Venue art??

    Great shows!!

Back from Oregon and the No Depression Festival.

I concur with stoger that the crowd at the Roseland was a little roudier (drunk) than the some, but I believe it was the only bar show on this mini tour….

I was near the front and my (and my wife’s) joy was uninterrupted.

Amazing setlist and a great ROCK venue!

I was as impressed as everyone with Sera Cahoon and listened to her cd on the drive home..
    What a week-end!!

(AND I scored a concert poster from the venue that I believe will double as the new album cover!!!)

    Something about what happens…

Would be much appreciated .. in either Redmond or Portland!!

So much looking forward to this weekend!

(If anyone needs a single ticket for Redmond… my wife has to cancel due to a work commitment)
