Not sure what else I can add beyond what I put up earlier in this post. It is the Kate Wolf folk festival and it will be Lu and Doug for this show as well as Big Sur.
The July shows will be with the band.
I’m confused (still) if this was a reply to the Redding inquiry…
I thought there was the Kate Wolf on the 1st AND a Redding show on the 11th..Oh, well..
See you in Vancouver !!6/24 -Hollywood Bowl -appearing as guest artist at Glen Campbell’s farewell concert

The lack of info on the Redding show is killing me..
Thinking of driving down and then heading back up for Vancouver Folkfest..Looking forward to the festival, but am hoping to catch at least one full set this summer..
BigSur sure sounded good, but a little too far to drive from the Northwest..I’ve about wore out the google machine on it.. if anyone has the early scoop it would be much appreciated.
Mike_DoranParticipantAnyone aware of any of the details of the “Redding” show?
Who (duo.. trio??) Where?
Didn’t see any posts about it yet.. but there’s a drive I’ll make from the NorthWest…Mike_DoranParticipantThanks for sharing that post, Lucinda and Tom.
I’m fairly certain all forum participants have it already, but the Lost Notebooks of Hank Williams featuring a song each by Levon and Lucinda is by far the best compilation album I’ve ever heard.
Mike_DoranParticipantDon’t get me wrong, as I appreciate every single opportunity to attend a live performance, but
“mid-July to early August” does not constitute a “leg”… A foot, yes, a shin…Come out West!! (and see..)
Mike_DoranParticipantCongratulations and Thanks very much for sharing your gift(s) with us.
Peace.
Mike_DoranParticipantWhat an amazing show!!
Salt of the earth was such a special treat.
loved the whole show.
Mike_DoranParticipantI have taken my five year old daughter and seven year old granddaughter to countless shows..
Mostly outside venues where they can dance and I can make sure its easy to move them if the area ever turned “rowdy”. And I take turns during the encores taking them closer to the stage.
My daughter had the pleasure of meeting Lucinda and Tom at the an outdoor festival in Houston this year.
We all attended about five Lu concerts on that trip alone.I don’t think content of the lyrics, which most times take an adult mind to decipher, is as big an issue as content of the immediate surroundings.
Most would advise against it, but in the right venues, it works very nicely for all of us!!
Mike_DoranParticipantCongratulations to Lucinda on the award!
Perhaps two awards(album of the year)???
Love to be there but will be listening on NPR.
Mike_DoranParticipantLovin’.. this album.
Thanks for the heads up!
Mike_DoranParticipantDidn’t make the list, as it wasn’t maybe amongst the top venues, but as far as venue with the best name??
Gotta be The Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Was driving a vehicle across country and designed the trip to catch Lu in a couple venues.
Spoke with her after the show and she said she loved the name and had to play there! It was actually a very fun small honkey tonk feeling joint inside a casino…
Mike_DoranParticipantThree for me, but my (and maybe Lu’s?) all time favorite..even better than my hometown Showbox, was the
House of Blues in New Orleans.Best show…. EVER. (2011)
Mike_DoranParticipantYay Portland!!
Thanks for the update(s)!!!
Mike_DoranParticipantVery Cool.
Thanks!!
Mike_DoranParticipantTom.. thanks so much for all the up to the minute info… very helpful.
Any idea when the pre-sale(s) for SF will be??
Thanks again…
