WestI’m no geographer, Mike, but it appears to me it’s doing the opposite, as in Head East/Northeast, young man.
Oh.. I was referring to the Montana then Edmonton appearances after NH, NJ and Kansas….
I am heading east for several Stones shows.. would love to cross paths with Lu and company, but so far no close dates/venues.I’m thinking/hoping a mid/late summer swing through the Northwest is almost a tradition though..

ParticipantThanks Roger..
Big Red Sun Blues was the one I was looking for on the northwest tour..
Love that song… I’m sure I have but can’t remember hearing it live..Mike_Doran
ParticipantLove Lu’s cover of Factory…
Hate pushy fans as well..
Especially ones who try to “push” you right out of your seat…Thanks for the report, Roger.

ParticipantBring it!!
I will be enjoying the recaps, anecdotes and occasional pearls of wisdom from (unfortunately) afar…

Saw them last at the LA Coliseum in 1981. Tim and I went to see them at the Boston Garden back in 74 I think. Have fun.
Thanks, Tony.. I remember that tour.. J Geils opened for them here in Seattle… Another favorite of mine.
Going to see their long time back-up singer (and an Emmy winner this year for the fantastic documentary “Twenty feet from Stardom”) Lisa Fischer at Jazz Alley in Seattle, next Friday..
PS
I hope you are currently in route to the first sow at McCabes as I type.. Great venue (where I first met you as I recall).Mike_Doran

Always love me some Live.. Real Live Bleeding Fingers..Thanks for posting, Tony
Assuming KBB opened…I’ll look forward to the reports!Mike_Doran
ParticipantVery nice catch, Paul. As I recall when I first saw them at last years “world” tour at McCabes, they played (by room necessity) a stripped down set.. very enjoyable. Now that’s it’s officially an “annual” event, I am going to plan to take the time next year for a trip down for the tour. Enjoy.

God I hope I win. It would mean so much to me. Can we just say I won now and get it over with? 😆
Definitely an outstanding (or sitting) post worthy of Post of the Month..
The year however still has quite a bit left in it.. but for now, the bar is (and I may be too, it is Washington state y’know) considerably higher than it was…

ParticipantAnother great show.. and good to see Tony and Roger
I was seated second row center, and it turned out to be perhaps a little too close, but a fun evening,
At one point during the show, a heavily intoxicated woman literally tried to eject me from my seat..demanding it for herself.. At first, unaware of her inebriated-ness, I thought I must have done something or sat somewhere wrong..
It was mid-song and right in front of Lu… and fortunately someone came to help her,, by dancing with her until security ushered them back to their seat to resounding boos. I think security stopping the dancing kept people in their seats for most of the concert.. Great time had by all though.. -
