Good story, Tony.
First time I saw Lu, I believe, was Aug 8, 1996 at one of the Summer Nights at the Pier shows on the Seattle waterfront. Kind of a rough patch for me, newly single and going to many shows, including every one I could catch at this unfortunately long gone, spectacular venue. I say I believe this was my first Lu show, but it’s possible I saw her before as she played the Pier several times during that era and my memory is a little.. fuzzy :). But this show left an impression that stuck.

Can’t travel to as many shows as I’d like, but really looking forward to her Northwest gigs coming up in June.

Fantastic couple of shows in Austin!
Made the last couple shows (hit Willie Nelson’s Beto rally in Lu of saturday’s show) and after catching four Plant/Lu shows, can honestly say they got better and better each time culminating in a fantastic tour finale on Monday.

A technical(?) snafu before the last song that unfortunately lasted several minutes, leaving Lu visibly pissed.
Not sure of the issue, perhaps getting her time cut, but unfortunate ending to a great run, although as is usually the case, it fired her up to finish out the set even stronger. Great show(s)!

Lot of Lu love in Portland, which I believe was the difference in this show being sold out for quite some time vs the Seattle show
where tickets were available up to just before showtime..
