what a killer show. Lucinda was in masterful form and fine voice. No start-overs! Pettibone is a virtuoso; his talents were on display with every song. for just two performers on stage it was very loud. and it was good.
regarding arrival – If you want a choice seat (nearly all the seats are good and a great sound system fills the corners of the room), it depends on how many people are in your party. If you have six or eight people you want to hold seats for, you need to be in line by three thirty at the very latest. If its just two of you you can arrive later and still score great seats. I arrived at 4:40 today, I held ticket number number thirty-nine in line (several groups in front of me had six or more people) and I still scored great seats dead center, second table back from stage.
Anyone attending tuesday’s show is in for what will likely be the best DC-area show of the year. Tonight’s show certainly was.
