sure thing. Didn’t we do Black Mountain too, or was that a different tour?
Yep, the Orange Peel was March 2011 and Black Mountain (Pisgah Brewery outdoor concert) was October 2011. Lucinda on a Friday night in Asheville during Springtime is hard to beat.

I hope to be there.
Let’s call it an ASU class reunion, off site, rainydayman.
Sounds great stoger. Shall we meat at Barleys Taproom before the show like we did last time?
RainydaymanParticipantI hope to be there.

The only downer of the evening was not hooking up with any FF buddies! I thought for sure a front and center stance would guarantee renewed hellos, but no. Stayed around until near 1:00 a.m. When we had to rush for the last shuttle bus.
Were you by chance that other grey haired man at the front? I was that tall grey haired man right in front of Stu, with only 1 person standing between me and that security railing. A lot of the people we met at the festival didn’t have a clue who Lucinda was, but were still interested in seeing her. I bet Lu gained some new fans last night.
Roger, I was looking for you. I missed James McMurtry.
RainydaymanParticipantHey Stoger and others. I’m looking forward to the Bristol show tomorrow night. Am I correct to assume that Lu is no longer performing that first album? So this will be a more varied setlist?
RainydaymanParticipantha ha ha
RainydaymanParticipantI know. Thanks for the reply Shaanny, but I figured this all out five years ago.
RainydaymanParticipantGreat review stoger. Thanks for posting. And we were able to find some folding chairs in the VIP section, so I guess that was the perk. I had a great time.
RainydaymanParticipantNice review stoger, and Tom I loved your review. Thanks guys.
RainydaymanParticipantThanks for the idea Stoger, but I can’t make it on Oct 16. Way to go West Words. Have fun.
RainydaymanParticipantHey Tom,
Are you going to make it to this show? Maybe we can meet for drinks or early supper before hand. Stoger expressed an interest too.
LukeRainydaymanParticipantThanks Tom.
RainydaymanParticipantDamn right Stoger. Maybe we can meet for an early dinner and drinks in Black Mtn before the show….just like last time in Asheville. Let’s keep in touch my friend. (By the way, the Pisgah Brewing Co. venue is a little rustic, but still it is beautiful, laid back, nice people, great beer. I’m going to buy the VIP Hops tickets)
See you there?RainydaymanParticipantHey Tom,
Is there a fan presale for the Pisgah Brewing Co. show in Black Mountain, NC? According to this article the fan presale starts “Wednesday September 15.”http://www.mountainx.com/article/35197/Lucinda-Williams-to-play-benefit-for-Wild-South-at-Pisgah
The problem is that Wednesday is the 14th, so is the presale a) Wednesday Sept 14? or b) Thursday Sept 15? or c) not at all? Thanks, I was part of that sold out crowd at the Orange Peel in Asheville last March and I’m expecting that this venue will sell out too.
Thanks. See you Oct 15.

Nice setlist!
Can anyone comment on what kind of merch is being sold at the shows and what the prices are? Shirts, vinyl, posters…?? Thanks.
sam
Sam, I didn’t notice the merch table Wednesday night. I’ve seen vinyl, CD’s, and T-shirts for sell at other shows but unfortunately this time I wasn’t looking and didn’t notice. Wish I could help.
