“2 kool” for the long beach show.
requesting a song for a concert i’ll not attend – and doing that twice – must be a first. hopefully robert (KJR) will be able to record it (if it happens) and add to his compilation. in a perfect world, lucinda would give a nod to his ongoing (and neverending, i suspect) project. you have no idea the amount of e-mails exchanged between france/germany/brazil and now sweden – all i can say this is something created out of love and kept alive out of love (with a touch of insanity) as well. can’t think of a nicer way to close the new ultra deluxe edition then lucinda saying one thing or two about it.
no buttercup, surprisingly. judging by the previous setlists i was hoping to see it here as well (it’s the only new song played on every show, including the “compact” one, no depression festival).
she’s been playing copenhagen and seeing black a lot. must be a good sign.
why so short?
this setlist is pretty similar to the ones from last year, loud and rocker, esp. on the last half. very nice.

so this book was postponed again (mid-2011 now!). i got the author’s e-mail and asked more about the release date and here’s what he had to say:
Thanks for your interest. I don’t know when the book will be released. There have been various delays, but it is substantially complete. I would love to get it out in the world for all to share–particularly if the book tour includes Brazil. 🙂

“i could swear i knew your love before i knew your name” must be stunning live.
watched the video – it was a seated show then? in those cases, can people stand up or they would get in the way of the sitting people? is there a ‘space’ near the stage for the stand-up people?
i’d find difficult to remain seated during 90% of the songs; terrific setlist, great video/upload, thanks for the link.
forgot about the time difference between rio and LA (you’re 6 hours behind) and came here fully expecting setlists and photos and links to youtube videos, and the show did not begin yet.
