Having worked on liner notes in the past that I edited multiple times, I can tell ya it sucks to see that mistakes still get through.
sure, we understand that. we only tried to help, as far as i’m concerned.

And just one thing, if you planned European tour, please come to Croatia. I’ve been of a few shows in Amsterdam and Germany, but time is hard and traveling is expensive.
if lucinda visits croatia before brazil I’D LOSE IT.

ParticipantSTAND RIGHT BY EACH OTHER is a terrific gem. 16 to go.

Participanti’d pay no attention to slant. their writing staff is a bunch of pretentious snobs. it creeps me out. but a 4-out-of-5 from them is GLOWING. trust me on that.
i’m very glad people are liking this a lot. years ago i didn’t feel the love BLESSED deserved by the critics – and that upset me. this one will make things right again. it currently holds a 81 rating on metacritic.

Participantfor some reason (i’m a busy man!) i just found out about this today. i’m in love with BIG MESS, and i still keep listening to STOWAWAY and MAGNOLIA like it’s a 3-song album. until 2015 i’ll wrap my head around the other 17. what a joy to live in a world where lucinda williams releases her art.

Participantwow.
truly special this one. easily the best yet.

Participantreally delightful. stowaway is still my favorite (out of the first 4 released).

Participanti heard grammar police state is lovely this time of the year.
BTW, what an unwelcoming statement. im a proofreader, i earn money that way, and i just noted a very silly apostrophe missing. no big deal. maybe i shouldnt have said anything because the liner notes are OBVIOUSLY printed and ready to go (and maybe theyre perfect, after all), but those things should be noted so they can be corrected later on. reprints, reissues, resomething. its minimal but its there. publishing houses work that way, and theyre doing fine.

Participantnot exactly a problem (spoiling being a very strong word), but i’m so used to read the lyrics afterwards that the idea of getting a taste of every song beforehand seemed almost wrong.
i’ve read the lyrics from the 3 songs already “released”. there’s a WONT (instead of WON’T) on STOWAWAY that almost made me wanna die. i hope there’s time to fix it.

Thank you for this excellent mid-afternoon diversion. Favorite line:

i beg to differ (as usual). lucinda’s best baby is from FRUITS OF MY LABOR.

Participantwould it be a spoiler to read the lyrics before listening to the music?
honest question! 🙂
