Where can I get hold of this? It is not available in UK iTunes, not available in the store on this site and Amazon downloads don’t work over here!

I’m not going to as many shows as I would wish to because the bus from the UK to all of those fine venues in the USofA is a little over-priced (not to mention slow!)
Soon as she gets her B-hind over here, I will be going plenty!
An educated guess (I’m sure others will correct me if I am wrong) but I think it is the opening chord of the song and the capo position on the neck. eg. Essence Em 3, means that she starts playing an Em chord with the capo on the 3rd fret – actually a Gm.
That is an incredible insight IJ. My first thought upon hearing the track was something very similar.
One of the things I love most about the new album is the spontaneity of it – most tracks have the air of a work-in-progress, captured at a particularly ‘right’ moment, rather than a fully polished, and over-sanitised, ‘finished’ version.
And for me, that humanity is the greatest thing about it.
Absolutely right Saudade. Do you admire an artist because they set beautiful words to great music, or because they have good memories?

That’s odd. I downloaded the UK iTunes version and it has the same order as the CD (as shown on Amazon.) Perhaps only the US iTunes version is different.
iTunesed it this morning. Thanks to the team for getting the album out on time over here after the trouble with the Real Love single.
I can see me playing little else for a while.
I am currently basking in the warm, smug glow of european exclusivity!
For the record, the song is 2 minutes of blues that sounds like it ought to be part of a much longer song – which it may well be one day – still good though (obviously, duh!) and with plenty of true-blue Lu attitude crammed in – “If you love the life you live, live it every day.”
I’m sure that it will turn up over there legally soon – but now you know how I felt when Real Love arrived a couple of weeks late this side of the pond. So I am just going to enjoy having something that my transatlantic chums ain’t got ahold of yet (For once!)
