An E-Mail today (Friday, Feb. 3) promoting the live-stream specifies 16 musical acts to perform Lucinda’s classic songs.
The listed performers are Jade Bird, Brandy Clark, Madison Cunningham, Sierra Ferrell, Lucius, Lori McKenna, The Milk Carton Kids, Mumford & Sons, Aoife O’Donovan, Grace Potter, Katie Pruitt, Allison Russell, Brittney Spencer, Molly Tuttle, Sara & Sean Watkins and Dwight Yoakam.
Looks like a busy Saturday night for limousines, sound checkers, and string tuners.
paul_from_losangelesParticipantSimilar for me as tonyg. I entered the line at 10 AM, and was told no tickets are available. Doesn’t say sold out, just no tickets are available.
On Facebook, the Americana Music Association page indicates that members were sent an exclusive presale offer. Apparently, the presale was allowed to buy all the tickets.paul_from_losangelesParticipantAt the Troubadour website, tickets are available today, Wednesday, Jan. 25, with a presale password, which I don’t know.
No description of this opaque event. Probably, various famous musicians, in town for the Grammy awards, performing a musical tribute to Lucinda.August 5, 2021 at 6:41 am in reply to: 10/21/21 Lucinda support for Willie Nelson–Santa Barbara #82647paul_from_losangelesParticipantExtra notes, as I read further into the small print of this complex E-Mail:
Lucinda is also featured as a Special Guest to Willie Nelson & the Avert Brothers, on the previous night: Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the Save Mart Center in Fresno. https://www.axs.com/events/409677
paul_from_losangelesParticipantstoger, it’s mile zero, not mile oh.

paul_from_losangelesParticipantNote that the Nashville City Winery has postponed Lu’s performances for this weekend, Nov. 27-28.
paul_from_losangelesParticipantWith reference to Lafayette’s comment about the weather, I attended the Nashville City Winery Garden for several EmmyLou Harris shows in recent weeks.
The venue is a sturdy well-built tent with a roof and side sheeting, and reasonable tables and chairs. There should be no problem from a 15% rain falling above. However, you may need a jacket for the evening temperature, and the wind blowing under the tent sheets.
Also, there is an issue that the tent is built on an asphalt parking lot. Outside rain does seep sideways under the tent, into the asphalt. Be cautious about placing valuable objects and your bare feet or socks on the asphalt, without verifying if the asphalt is wet.
There is a full food and drink menu, and covered walking to the permanent restrooms in the main building. To read and order from the menu, you do need your smartphone to process a specific QR-code located at your table, although the staff will process your verbal order, if needed.
The tables are socially distanced, and masks are required when walking thru the venue.
paul_from_losangelesParticipantI am ticketed for the LA and Oakland shows, and I hope to see some familiar friends at both theaters.
paul_from_losangelesParticipantThank you, Mike, for finding Lucinda’s set within the Cheap Trick archive. Lu starts at about 1 hour within the time slider.
Off topic question to our esteemed moderator:
tonyg, you seem to be able to modify your prior posts. Myself, as a mere mortal, I don’t see an edit button after I submit, log-out, login again, and then view the post. The older forum allowed me to edit a prior post. Is my assessment correct, or am I missing a hidden edit feature?paul_from_losangelesParticipantNote: To find Lillie Mae’s performance in the archives, select Buddy Miller’s Cavalcade of Allstars, and move the time slider to between 1:55 hours and 2:35 hours.
paul_from_losangelesParticipantNote that many performances from Hardly Strictly are being streamed live, and are archived for later viewing.

On Saturday, I watched Lillie Mae’s set on my home computer, and I was very impressed by the professional quality of the video feed–at least 4 live cameras mixed into the feed, with high-definition views of the large audience, stage, singers, and musicians.
Today, on Sunday, Lucinda will be playing, and (subject to performer approval) Lucinda might be included in the video feed. Concurrent performances are being streamed, so you can switch between different stages. If you have multiple devices and sufficient internet bandwidth, you might view multiple stages simultaneously–for example, Lucinda and Emmy Lou, both between 5:50 and 7 PM.

paul_from_losangelesParticipantThe detailed schedule for Hardly Strictly now appears at http://www.hardlystrictlybluegrass.com/2017/.
For those who seek the company of 250,000 persons to view a music experience on 7 stages, Lucinda will be performing twice on Sunday, Oct. 8:
(1) as part of LampedUSA, at 2:45-3:35 PM, and
(2) her own set, at 5:50-7:00 PM.September 22, 2017 at 9:46 pm in reply to: Album Release Party & Lucinda Acoustic Set in LA 9.29 #74399paul_from_losangelesParticipantThe October 10 date was already mentioned in the LampedUSA thread:
October 10 – Los Angeles, CA: The Wiltern – Featuring: Joan Baez, Brandi Carlile, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, The Mastersons, Alynda Segarra, and Lucinda Williams.
