Stoger, let me know if you are going. My wife can’t go and I really want to go to this one.
parkercaParticipantI have to find a way to go to either the Gruene show or the Little Rock show.
parkercaParticipantLittle Rock or Dallas is close enough for me!
parkercaParticipant@Lafayette I liked him on guitar. I think Charlie Sexton is better, but it was a nice change to Highway 61.
@Stoger I thought this was the best setlist I have seen in the last few years. I enjoy his newer songs just a much as some of his songs from the 60’s and 70’s. I was thrilled to get Mississippi. He seemed to be having a really good time. Before the last song, he and Tony were messing around on stage. Tony acted like he was pulling Bob back on stage while dylan was laughing. I have never seen Dylan interact like that with the band.
parkercaParticipantRight. Those have never been issued on vinyl.
I never picked up the Fillmore vinyl. I wouldn’t mind having it back in print.parkercaParticipantThat is one lucky kid.
parkercaParticipantYou can find lps of “Passionate Kisses” single and “Lucinda Williams” from time to time on ebay.
I probably paid 12 for the single and 20-25 for the other.Hopefully we get “Sweet Old World”, “Car Wheels” and “Essence” soon.
parkercaParticipantI did. Great store. I saw Charlie Sexton and Tony made it over there also.
Saw them go into the Ryman with Ernest Tubb bags.parkercaParticipantFANTASTIC SHOW! The setlist was amazing, For me. I like a lot of these songs and getting Mississippi was icing on the cake. You can not go wrong seeing a show at the Ryman. I know it sounds corny but it is a religious experience.
Plus got the meet Jack White! On a side note: The Ryman security were relentless on cameras. I took a cell phone pic of my buddy between Leon and Bob’s set and got a bony finger in my shoulder telling me NO PHOTOS. I think that is a little ridiculous.
The Ryman setlist:
1. Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat
2. It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue
3. Things Have Changed
4. Tangled Up In Blue
5. Beyond Here Lies Nothin’ (Bob on guitar)
6. Mississippi
7. High Water (For Charley Patton)
8. Sugar Baby
9. Highway 61 Revisited (Lukas Nelson on guitar)
10. Forgetful Heart
11. Thunder On The Mountain
12. Ballad Of A Thin Man(encore)
13. Like A Rolling Stone
14. All Along The Watchtower
15. Blowin’ In The WindparkercaParticipantThanks for the Birthday wishes. I’ll be sure and let him know its my bday.
I’ll probably get tased in the process. lolparkercaParticipantThanks! I’m hoping for Mississippi. We will see.
I’ve learned with Bob to not go in with any expectations.parkercaParticipantThis is great news. It seems like it has been in the making for the last 5 years.
parkercaParticipantGot an email from Lost Highway that West is now available again on LP.
parkercaParticipantHas there been any word of more fall dates?
parkercaParticipantI forgot it was coming out. Downloading now…
