Participant@stoger, I have not been able to make any shows this tour… yet. I’m still looking at the Lawrence Kansas show.
I REALLY want to get to one. My wife got a new position here at the University and can’t use vacation until December. That kinda limits my travel. 😡Stoger, are you going to the Lawrence show?

ParticipantTom,
Will this be released on vinyl eventually?parkerca

ParticipantHere are my 5 choices. All from McCartney’s solo albums:
1. Somedays (From Flaming Pie)
2. Every Night (From McCartney)
3. My Love (Red Rose Speedway)
4. Maybe I’m Amazed (McCartney)
5. Let Me Roll It (Band On The Run)parkerca
ParticipantAfter reading that, we really need a “What Macca song should Lucinda cover?” thread! 😀
This might be a tougher task than the Dylan song.

ParticipantTom, When will the album be released?
parkerca
ParticipantJust curious which song was decided on?

ParticipantI have heard of “Ten of Swords”. I have some of the bootleg Basement Tapes. I think what I have is called “A Tree With Roots”.
It is amazing how much Dylan has in the vaults. Sony could release a new edition of the Bootleg Series every 6 months if they wanted to.
parkerca
ParticipantThat would be very cool. I wish Sony would release the complete Basement Tapes in the bootleg series.

ParticipantHas anyone suggested “Crash on the Levee/Down in the Flood” yet?

ParticipantTom O I think my head just exploded trying to think of one!
So I narrowed it down to 6 8)
Taking into consideration it is for an Amnesty International benefit cd• Heart of Mine
• Meet Me In The Morning
• Mama, You Been On My Mind
• If Not For You
• Ring Them Bells
• I’ll Remember YouOn a side note:
Something I would LOVE to hear is Lu’s take on Dylan’s take of Cash’s “Train of Love” 😛parkerca
ParticipantI saw Steve Earle at Billy Bob’s in July. His show also began at 10:30.
It was an ok venue. The sound was average. The beers were expensive! Also get reserved seating. It is worth it. The general admission is pretty far from the stage.
